Won’t be as polished as your bigger options or as feature rich as Plex. But it’s free and you can download your own music. It’s not bad. It’s simple and gets the job done if you just want to play from your library in a pinch on your phone. Exactly what I need. Was a little scared seeing the reviews on here, all which are old. It does the job, could always be better but I appreciate the option. Currently, when you open the app, it automatically continues to play where it stopped previously. Not only opens the same track at the same timestamp, but also starts to play it without me pressing the play button, that's a bit annoying. Would be nice to be able to disable that in the settings, with the option to restore the session but put it on pause so it doesn't play automatically. 2. Can you please add the Shuffle button for "All Songs" and "Folder" lists, the same way it's there in the playlists, like that big red button at the top of the playlist so I can start it in random order. Many times I just want to open all my songs and start playing them in random order and currently I needed to create a playlist and add all my songs to it to do that comfortably. Would be nice if I could just open "All songs" and press Shuffle. 3. In the Russian UI the "Shuffle" button is translated into a long text "Воспроизведение в случайном попядке" which goes outside the button. Lyrics are added as text using the database items that AiMusic is mapped to (iTunes). Similar to how album artwork is copied and pasted. Android items can do the same using Windows media player, etc. Never lost any lyrics until the last update push. ### 2/5 — Lyrics are gone *2023-12-19* Latest update push, without asking first, no longer display song lyrics? **Developer response:** Hi, Due to copyright considerations and the unavailability of third-party lyric databases, the Lyrics Plugin feature was removed in the new version of AiMusic. This change aligns with the Android version of AiMusic. Could you please clarify how you obtained lyrics in the previous version? Were they manually added or sourced from other third-party lyric plugins? Leider kann das dumme IPhone die geladene Musik nicht finden. Nix zu sehen von den MP3 in „Dateien“! Nur die App AIMusic selber findet die Musik auf dem IPhone. Andere Musikplayer-Apps finden sie nicht. Ist das so gewollt oder ein Fehler beim Downloaden der Musik vom NAS. Sollte besser in den Ordner „Dateien“ My IPhone erfolgen. Then cannot browse albums but can search? Then starting pausing every minute for 5 seconds. Then just stoped working completely. No longer; it can connect to the NAS and see the music files and album covers, but none of the songs (various formats) will play; the app just sits there with the spinning circle thing well, spinning. Meanwhile other apps like Flacbox still work fine with the NAS. May be coincidence but seems to have stopped working around the time Asustor updated ADM due to the ransomware attacks. Shame really. ### 1/5 — Deceiving *2022-01-12* Albums randomly split by artist when CD is a compilation (you’ll see four times the album with for different artists for example) for most on my albums, once you clic on the album, the songs are doubled, tripled or more (a 16 tracks cd will appear 32 tracks, for example, and tracks 1&2 will be the same, 3&4 the same, etc.) **Developer response:** Hi ben_t2 To understand what is the cause and how to improve the AiMusic, we would like you to provide some songs and also screenshots for us to check it. I’m using an Asustor AS5404T with ‘sounds good App installed. I have a Music folder and have just copied music into it from my PC. Once AIMusic app has logged in to the NAS with your account, you just specify the folder with the music and you’re done! It’s playing all my music without issue. One thing I would say is that when my iPhone is connected to my HomeTheatre via Bluetooth the volume is quite low, so have to turn the volume up more than I would like and I have to remember to turn it back down again after disconnecting! ### 5/5 — Aktuelle Version Top. *2020-07-13, version 2.1.10* Spielt klaglos von MP3 bis hin zu 24/96 alles von NAS aufs iPhone.
