This now makes it impossible to to use if you are serious about making a game don’t bother with this app. I’m level 18 so I know this app well You can no longer use a AI to make your program code as they have put into place a 200 word restriction so it is almost impossible to make program you will soon run out of credits. If you cannot use the AI to help you this has been a big mistake. I have spent months and months making programs and now I am a number one user at a high level of level 18 and now it is almost impossible for me to upload decent games after this update. I am going to have to quit as it’s impossible to tell the AI how to make a game by just by talking. To summarize: You’ll be needing 200-500 credits for any basic game that looks nice. Each prompt is 25 credits. You were just trying to discuss ideas? Still 25 credits, except the AI doesn’t even confirm what you were asking, leading to lot’s of wasted credits. Everyday you login, you get 50, with the occasional 150 if you’re logging in each day. Were you hoping to draw art for your own game? It will probably be filtered and blocked, whether it’s offensive or not. I tried to upload a visual novel sprite of a completely safe character, with tanned/black skin color. That was offensive, apparently. You want audio that’s actually decent? Hopefully you’ve got the rights to songs, because Aippy’s library is non-existant. I redownloaded because it looked like maybe there were some improvements, you know? Well, there were, but at the same time; not. They added this little avatar, which is nice and all, but completely useless. Participating in voting and creating actual projects to promote their own avatar costs credits I guess. Then you have these animated emoji’s or something. I dunno, they don’t have anything to do with game creation. Now, the ui doesn’t look half bad, made some adjustments there. But all the previous major problems are still very, very much there :/. Literally all it takes is a few steps. 1. At least allow players to discuss their idea with the ai. There should always, ALWAYS be a confirm build button after each request. The ai should also repeat what they heard to ensure the AI is understanding the creators intentions correctly. ESPECIALLY if credits are being used. 2. Refund credits depending on how many were used in that project. The ai is in all truth, unpredictable. Often, I’ll get 400 something credits deep, only for the ai to make one mistake that breaks the game and will refuse to revert it. Bringing back the previous versions doesn’t bring back those 25 credits. If I’m spending these big credit amounts, it’s obvious I wasn’t just making a copy for free credits. Even 75% would make me, and most likely other creators too, feel better about wasting time and credits on a project/ game they felt passionate about. Yep, that’s it. Two simple changes can at least slightly improve your app. If you really, REALLY want something for quick games and low stress, just download sekai instead. It has a better audio selection, the ai generates actually good ui layouts, and art importation that actually let’s you import art, and DOESN’T USE CREDITS.
