However, there is no functionality of taking pictures while streaming (which is listed as an option). This feature seemed to have been removed at one point, as in the screenshots of the app, you can clearly see a white button for that. The microphone feature is also a good addition, but it’s useless — as it only can capture and stream what’s right in front of the microphone. Any ambient sounds are inaudible. I hope the developer can address this as well. The quality of the stream is stellar and stable. I also wish the developer added distinct buttons for different cameras, as what’s there now requires too many clicks to select the right one. Sometimes, when you click through, you realize you needed the one that you just switched from, and so you need to keep cycling the cameras all over again until the right one. ### 4/5 — Great app with room for improvements *2021-11-08* It’s great to see such a small app in size can do what it promises. Performance is top notch. Things to improve: - iPhone was going to auto-lock the screen after airplay for a while. Developers: could you please add the option to use the second camera on the iPhone plus? Perhaps just a zoom feature that automatically uses the second camera? Updating this with a request to enable selecting any one of the 4 cameras on the iPhone pro 11/12. The latest version does not support this. **Developer response:** Please try the latest version. When used in this manner, there’s no need to use AirPlay. However, since the app constantly displays “Please Turn on AirPlay Mirroring”, it doesn’t work so well. Sadly, audio has so many problems that the app is not usable. I am using it on an iPad feeding to a pc through an Apple brand lightning to HDMI adapter. When first started up, the default is mic off. You can turn it on with a tap. It will pass sound at that point to the Camera app on the PC but NOT to YouTube Live. The sound to the Camera app “stutters” badly - it is not usable. Even worse, if you shut down the app and restart it, the mic is in the off position when it restarts and you can not turn it back on. You can only turn it on by rebooting your iPad. As a document camera, this app will probably meet your needs but it is unusable for any use requiring audio. ### 1/5 — Air Camera doesn’t work *2020-11-23* Downloaded, no options or settings to push cam to airplay device. To turn on AirPlay Mirroring open the control centre and tap Screen Mirroring. I don't believe we have advertised anywhere that it works in Portrait, where did you read this? While it is certainly possible, we have never needed or wanted to display in this way. The reasoning is that most TVs and projectors are landscape. Waste of 99 cents! **Developer response:** Please try the latest version. ### 1/5 — Rarely works *2020-04-04* Literally just bought this app. Opened it and it worked fine, until I closed the app. After that it wouldn’t airplay. The only way around this is to shut off your phone, reboot it, and then open the app again. But once you close the app you have to start the process all over again and restart your phone. This is extremely frustrating and you’ll basically just waste a dollar. **Developer response:** Please try the latest version. Es gibt Settings zum Umschalten der Auflösung und der Stabilisierungsmethoden (Latenz vs. Stabilisierung), Mikro ein/aus, und Kameras durchwechseln. Die Verzögerung via Airplay ist minimal. Lediglich dass über die Lautstärketasten der Audio-Pegel geregelt werden kann, sollte klarer sein. Das findet man u.U. nur per Zufall raus. Button to switch cameras is a little confusing at first, the icon which normally represents switching between front facing and rear cameras does in fact let you switch between all the device cameras, including the ultra wide and tele on newer devices. Could provide better user feedback to indicate which camera is being used. Funktioniert einwandfrei auf iPad Pro, iPhone 8 mit iOS 13.x! Verbindet sich auch mit AirPlay-Lösungen von Fremdanbietern, wie Prowise oder Airserver (Mac), sowie AppleTV 3. und 4. Generation. Top um mal schnell einen Livevideofeed auf den Beamer/Monitor zu geben. Schön wäre, wenn man das Bild wahlweise einfrieren und/oder Anmerkungen schreiben könnte.
