The Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Emergency Management Division (AFCEC/CXR) has produced a new product the Air Force “Be Ready” Mobile App. This app supports the Air Force “Be Ready” Awareness Campaign and complements the Air Force Emergency Preparedness Guide. This app offers the user (military, civilians, contractors, and family members) key resources and personalized selections needed for a disaster/hazard emergency. It includes a list of all the threat information contained in the Air Force Emergency Preparedness Guide. It also includes a functional and customizable emergency supply checklist along with a function that allows users to add important telephone numbers, websites and an option to develop a family emergency plan. Also user interface is off on my iPad Air 2. Overall this app is a great idea and has great information, however there is definite rom for improvement and dire need of updates regarding to current events that would pertain to this app. ### 2/5 — Limited Capability *2013-11-01* Basic information that is already available on ready.gov and other sites.
