Air Keyboard allows you to use your iPad as a wireless keyboard and touch pad for different platforms.

Features:
• 9 built-in keyboard layouts.
Including regular keyboard, iPad soft keyboard, Media Player, Photoshop, shooter game, AZERTY and Cyrillic layouts.

• Fully customizable keyboard layout designer.
It allows you to create your own layout, place buttons as you want, set their appearance and bind keys. You can also download images for your buttons from Internet or local Photo Library. Layouts can be exported and imported via iTunes.

• Key and event sequences.
You can create a sequence containing key press, mouse movement, delay or scroll event and then bind the sequence to a button. This can simplify working with complex software.

Scroll gesture is supported on all systems.
Multitouch is supported on limited number of systems.

This app proved to be very useful when I had some arthritis problems in my right hand, meaning mouse use had to be stopped for a while. I found this app, tried the free version which worked well but with limited options. I then upgraded for £2.99 which is a decent price and was able to use my iPad mini 5 as a giant trackpad with two buttons - so was able to continue working. 
Turned out the ideal app for my situation.

Just love everything about this utility, but it's raw.  Would like to see 'undo' and 'revert' to original/loaded options added. But even more, I'd like to see 'cut 'n paste' of items or groups of items both from within layouts and between them too.
Really helpful tool to have, just hope that it's not now 'abandonware' and that the author updates it.

I’ve had this app since mid 2021 and it works well with my iPad controlling an M1 Mac mini connected to my tv. I did have to figure out that both machines need to be connected to the same WiFi network (I have several networks from the same router), and if the power causes the Mac to restart, I have to remember to reconnect to the common network. 

It hasn’t been updated for a while, and the update checker on the Mac side throws up an error message.

Doesn't connect to computer. Says it requires up but even after following all the steps and then even trying to troubleshoot it myself after the non existent support on the app, I still couldn't get the app to connect to the computer.

I downloaded this app summer of 2020 and it worked great on my desktop. This app was great for me because I am paralyzed and my hands don’t work well. I just got a new tablet PC and I can not get this app to work. It just searches and will not find my pc. App support website is non existent. This is one of the few apps I paid for...

After waiting for over 4 years to find something to take over where CCP by FrozenPepper left off, I use this as a button box for ETS2 and it is fabulous, connecting to a PC has never been easier, works really easy, once you let the iPad see the network on IOS14. Might be worth mentioning that to other users.
Look forward to have different coloured buttons than black or grey.

This is a wonderful app that I’d be willing to give a 5/5 to but I’m on Windows and: click & drag doesn’t work, there’s no option to lock modifier keys (alt, ctrl, shift) and in custom layout the scroll up/down mouse button doesn’t keep scrolling (you have to keep tapping it). These are all functions that work in other keyboard apps. Please fix this.
