The panel occupies only a fraction of the screen and all buttons have an offset to the panel. So totally inusable. Support contated told me they have no clue how to remedy this. A pity, the app seemed to be a real help. So telling it works on IPad seems to be excessive ( if not worst) ### 4/5 — Works fine but missing a lot *2025-10-03, version 5.0.0* Works fine with MSFS2024, connects fine no issues. No Garmin available in MSFS24 Not all the widgets work in MSFS24 Dragging and scaling is hit and miss It’s buggy when trying to remove widgets, have to close and restart the app each time. Could do with some proper instructions, just lazy developers not bothering in my opinion I bought this version instead of the full pc version for a couple of reasons, £70 is far too much for the full version I have spacedesk, spare mini hdmi monitors and multiple DP/ hdmi options but just didn’t want all the cabling so thought an old iPad would be an easy option. After a weekend using, now getting used to the software It does feel like it’s not finished yet, more beta. ### 3/5 — Aircraft not supported *2025-09-01, version 5.0.0* I’ve given this 3 stars mainly because it does not yet provide instruments for MSFS2020 Cessna Citation (September 2025). I have an IPad that would have been great to display the FMC. Los controles en general funcionan, pero lamentablemente los controles de avionica (el Garmin 500/ 530) y otros similares no muestran datos en las pantallas y eso no se avisa en la descripción ni en la web, podría ser mucho mas claro en este aspecto. Por el precio que tiene es mucho mejor comprar la version de Desktop, que vale algo mas cara, pero funciona todo correctamente, la version de iPad es un poco “consolacion” para cuando no tienes otra cosa. ### 4/5 — Works now very well with X Plane 12 on my M2 Mac ! If that functionality happens, I’d gladly repurchase. ### 1/5 — Does not work with Apple Studio Ultra M1 *2023-01-18, version 4.1* I have been unable to get the plugin to work with my computer unless I toggle “open with rosetta” in preferences. I have contacted support and started a ticket, with no fix. I’m still hoping to be able to use the app in the future. It would make flying x-Plane 12 much better. ### 1/5 — Verbindet sich nicht *2023-01-03, version 4.1* Die Verbindung mit FS2020 kommt nicht immer zustande, es gibt keine Funtktion, um die Verbindung anzutriggern. Nach dem dritten Mal runter und hochfahren klappt die Verbindung vielleicht. Wenn die Verbindung steht, funktionieren nur einige Panels. Es gibt zwar mehrere Reiter für z.B „Airbus“ , aber meistens verbirgt sich dahinter nur ein Teil des Cockpits, aber kein PFD oder MFD. Bei anderen Flugzeugen nur z.B Öldruckanzeigen oder ähnliches. Der größte Showstopper aber sind die MSFS „plug ins“. Danach funktionierte der Flugsimulator erstmal gar nicht mehr. Finger weg, der Airmanager ist alles in allem Schrott. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t work on my iPad Pro first gen *2022-12-08, version 4.1* Great product, works fine on my iPad mini but unfortunately it does not on my iPad Pro first gen. There are issues with the black screen when I try to load the instruments. They do not load completely, only partially. I wish I could send a screen shot, tried deleting and reinstalling but nothing, the problem doesn’t go away. ### 4/5 — Love the app, last update 4.1 has issues though *2022-05-09, version 4.1* Must have app if you like flight simulators, connects perfectly with Xplane 11, however update 4.1 doesn't work for me on iOS 9.3.5, I have three iPad 2s and in all of them the app crashes when starting and doesn't enter the app, didn't happen on 4.0. However, my experience with this app has been less than satisfactory. Let me share my thoughts on why I found it unusable and disappointing. The Good: Concept: The idea of creating custom instrument panels using an iPad is appealing. Having touch-enabled controls for my flight simulator sounded promising. The Bad: Flashing Dials: The most frustrating issue I encountered was what I call flash dials. When I loaded an instrument panel, the dials would initially appear full-sized on the iPad screen, but then they would suddenly shrink to show only a portion of the dial. This inconsistency made it impossible to use effectively. Hours of Frustration: I spent hours trying to figure out a solution. I scoured forums, read documentation, and experimented with settings, but the problem persisted. It felt like a waste of time and money. Lack of Clarity: The installation process was not straightforward. I expected a simple setup, but instead, I found myself navigating through confusing menus and options. The lack of clear instructions added to my frustration. Conclusion: Air Manager has potential, but the current version falls short. The flash dials issue severely impacts usability, and the complexity of installation makes it far from an easy add-on. I’ve requested support, but until this major problem is resolved, I cannot recommend this app to fellow simmers. If you’re considering Air Manager, proceed with caution. Hopefully, future updates will address these issues and improve the overall user experience. ### 1/5 — Does not work on iPad pro 12.9" *2024-01-24, version 4.1.6* the app does not render correctly on the ipad pro as another review stated. gauges are only partly displayed, data from my pc is received but if you cant see the entire gauge its of no use. i feel a bit burnt, after spending 40aud on the app so i will be requesting a refund from apple. This app is excellent. Got my iPad on my yoke so it all feels natural. After installing I realised I needed the pc app also, ran it, boom all working on my Cessna :) My first custom screen in minutes. Had a go with another prebuilt and it’s brilliant. Probably get the full version eventually with another screen. But this does just fine. ### 5/5 — Works great with no extra software running. Get it now! ### 5/5 — Streaming in X-Plane seems magical *2024-06-22, version 4.2.0* Starting with version 4.2 the ability to stream the glass displays from the G530/430 and G1000 instruments directly from the simulator to your networked iPad is fantastic. It’s like having a fully operational G 1000 or 530 with touch control buttons and knobs for a tiny fraction of the cost of actual hardware. This app allowed me to create a close to identical instrument panel on my old IPad that is far more readable than my HD monitor. Set up time was negligible as I started from a Beechcraft B58 cockpit and replaced stuff to match the F33a. Only complaint is having to buy the desktop version to actually create new instruments for the F33a and V35. ### 5/5 — Works Great for 152 MSFS2020 *2021-10-14, version 4.0* Connects automatically each time and the gauges are very responsive.
