It use to be good but now crashes or won’t connect. If you are looking for a better app than what behringer offers, get Mixing Station Pro ### 1/5 — APP Does Not Connect to XR18 *2022-01-25, version 5.3.0* I was never able to connect to XR18 mixer. I want my money back. ### 3/5 — Use *2019-08-07, version 5.1.8* I bought this app because the original sliders on my old iPad mini and even on my iPhone were massive and gave more control of the mix on a walk round the venue. Now it no longer supports my iPad mini and now the sliders are smaller than behringer original. Updated itself off my old iPad. Now I only have it as an emergency back up if my iPad and laptop stop working at the same time ### 2/5 — No way to see input meter while setting gain. *2019-07-22* I might be missing something but, I can’t find any way to set the input gain with a meter view or even a digit reference. To me that is the first and most important step to any mixer. As with lots of other comments I would not want to use this app to set up a mix from the ground up. It would be ok for monitor mixes or maybe a side type mixer when you can’t get to a real app that works properly. I was hoping to use it on my iPhone for small events where I just bring xr18 and iPhone cuz it’s on my waist anyway. But I would not feel comfortable to do that with this app as it is now. I’ll have to bring iPad I guess anyway with Behringer app. **Developer response:** This shortfall will be addressed in the next update... ### 3/5 — Sadly Still lacking, but getting there *2019-06-30, version 5.1.6* I love the fact the developer is so committed and has rewritten the code from scratch and hasnt charged for a new app. I love the interface and best of all the nice LONG faders (behringer take note!) But it’s still too slow, (using ipad air mk1) it lags, and is just not responsive enough for live use. Over 3 minutes to sync each time it drops connection. As much as i don't like behringers micro-faders on their app, they have everything else right including speed and reliability. I feel for the developer and sense his passion to make this app work. Please don't give up yet. This is a massive improvement on the previous version and be I’ll checking back for more improvements. User-organised faders also please. Keep it up! ### 5/5 — People this app works fine! *2019-06-24, version 5.1.6* Great update! I use this app weekly and it’s a great tool for the XAir series wireless mixers. On or off stage I can easily control the sound with DCAs, Channels, Processors and Effects. I can also quickly Mute any unused Mics or any Channels. For the people bad mouthing the app, please learn how to operate it first, before complaining that it doesn’t work. John Miller is doing an excellent job, he listens to users’ suggestions and requests, and he is friendly and a great communicator.
