It is so seamless and the visual interpreters you work with a great!! Sometimes you get someone who is not great but then if you called customer service, they make double swallow day. The situation is rectified. Also, it is worth every penny! ### 5/5 — Love the app *2025-05-23* I found out about this app from a friend a few days ago, and I absolutely loved it. I used it for my online classes for my masters degree for writing papers. They’ve gotten a lot more customer focused and it’s much easier to use. But I’ve been with them for a long time and I remember when it wasn’t. I give it five stars. It puts be my eyes in second place. But one thing I could suggest, is that you make a feature so that people can upload videos that they take with their iPhones camera. ### 5/5 — Amazing app *2024-09-05* This app literally changed my life, no longer do I get stuck on my own with any task. A lot of blind people don't have jobs. Don't you think it's fair that if we're subscribed to your service and pay for a certain amount of minutes each month the ones that we don't use we're still paid for which means that their hours And they should carryover even though the month is over. ### 1/5 — Aira Explorer *2024-01-30, version 1.18.4* Ira app is no good because when I call every couple days to use Aira, it always having some problems connecting to eight agent ### 1/5 — Old app was better unnecessary changes *2024-01-07, version 1.18.1* Seems like Aira keeps making unnecessary changes for the worse not for the better old app worked better and was more reliable ### 2/5 — False ads of 5 mins. Several times in the past month I have tried but no one answer the call.false advertisement. ### 2/5 — Cautious New customer *2025-05-30* I was excited to download the app. My enthusiasm diminished quickly after I spent nearly an hour trying to find pricing information on the app. This missing information is concerning in that it indicates a lack of customer focus or incompetence. After I realized I needed to call the 800 number to get pricing , I found that the 20 minute per month plan was only $1.04 per minute ( with a group discount ) , while the 35 minute plan cost $1.14 per minute . Why would a company charge more to purchase a higher volume. What other surprises am I going to encounter while using this app. ### 3/5 — Good app! *2023-07-01* Not quite as good as the original,but does have some pretty innovative features. It does not yet have the Aira Live feature, which would be good to bring back. It does have a pretty good screen share option, which at the moment is still a bit unstable. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. It is so convenient to have someone on video chat available 24 seven to assist you. I’ve used it when traveling in an airport to find the front desk and jump the line oops. Lol. My phone lost VoiceOver, the screen reader I use to read the screen, and an agent was able to help me position my finger to enter the passcode correctly to unlock the phone. There are so many ways in which Aira has helped me in the past, including getting from one place to another, reading screens, helping with inaccessible screens or webpages and much more. ### 5/5 — I can’t believe all the things I’ve done with Aira *2025-06-01* I’m an older blind woman, and I’ve lived on my own for at least 40 years. I have always done things on my own, but where I live now it’s not always easy to find someone to help me do something. I have friends. They’re just always very busy. Some things I don’t want my friends to do so it’s always nice to have someone who is impartial. I have always found the agents to be extremely helpful and I’m even surprised about some of the reasons that I’ve called. For instance, we put together a TV we found the right position for the cables the other day I was walking with my father who is getting older and he got lost And I said let me call Aira. We’ll find out so we used the navigational skills that way and I was at a train station recently and had to find a restroom so that was nice. I ran out of minutes right as we found the restroom so I never got to tell her thank you but I did leave her an excellent rating I’ve done all kinds of things.
