It’s quite jarring when my entire OS is in dark mode and I open Airbnb to a white background. Please offer this option. ### 1/5 — Never improved UI *2026-08-31, version 26.35* …I’m a long term user of the app. I’m surprised the developers have never improved the user interface. Searching for any specific property is impossible. The little notice that pops up saying ‘You’re in luck, this Otis usually booked’, or ‘This is one of the few places with a pool’ is obviously ridiculous and quite untrue. Lastly, (although there’s more) on a new search today my wife gets a villa for approx £100 less on a guest account rather than my long established account. Overall, I believe it’s a very unfriendly app and needs a complete revamp. I guess the developers don’t care too much as it’s an industry standard search app. ### 1/5 — Last-minute cancellation *2026-08-31, version 26.35* One thing I didn’t know about Airbnb is they can cancel at the last minute unless you do instant booking now I gotta go look for hours again and try to find a place. So helpful especially now that you’re so expensive just as much as hotels. ### 2/5 — Airbnb call centre *2026-08-30, version 26.35* Nowadays sounds like all the companies hire call centre from India because is cheaper, little they don’t know that a lot of them lack common sense and they are not professional at all, I’ve never been so frustrated so much before and I’m not an individual that writes reviews however I had to, Airbnb in general is a wonderful app but it there’s an issue you better hope you don’t need to go through the call centre, what a joke…this is what happens when you are trying to save money on staff ### 1/5 — Jag *2026-08-30, version 26.35* Airbnb Always take guest side when host carry all the risk . I recommend vebo instead ### 1/5 — Terrible customer service *2026-08-30, version 26.35* Everything is either a robot or a person who can’t help you if you have a problem. Had a bad review based on an Airbnb “tip” that they were pushing. They refused to take the review down. The review also included a quote from me that I never said, which is defamation. They still wouldn’t take it down. When I talked to a supervisor they just read a statement over and over as if they too were a robot. ### 1/5 — Aircover is FRAUD *2026-08-29, version 26.35* the new fee structure is hurting hosts and misleading guests I was using only Airbnb for my 6 properties until the fee structure changed and I tried to use aircover when I really needed it busy season. I would urge hosts to make sure and use all other channels available to them and BE AWARE THAT AIRCOVER OFFERS NO PROTECTION. I had a property rented back to back for three months with all perfect reviews, then a woman stayed with kids and broke the 3 year old sofa bed and I turned it into aircover and it was denied then I appealed and again they said denied unless I had pictures of the sofa just before their check in. I had even made the bed and the guest acknowledged it was working for the first night of their stay! ### 1/5 — Genocide supporting disgrace *2026-08-29, version 26.35* Airbnb is a disgrace to humanity.
