### 1/5 — Disappointed updated app no longer supports my iPad os - beware older gen ipad users!

*2026-08-23, version 25.27*

Well, that is disappointing… updated the app only to discover i can no longer use it in iPad Pro running 17.7.11

I suppose this is an Apple iOS issue, but would be nice if app developers kept some compatibility in mind. Can no longer access my reservations on this iOs.

### 1/5 — Ai ad was so bad

*2026-08-23, version 26.34*

This whole site feels like a scam now.

### 1/5 — Don’t Use This it’s Worthless

*2026-08-23, version 26.34*

My experience with Airbnb’s customer service and damage-claim process has been extremely disappointing.

A host accused us of causing damage that we strongly dispute, and despite providing our side of the situation, Airbnb ultimately decided that we were responsible. What bothered me most was the way the case was handled. It felt like the host’s allegations and documentation were given more weight than our explanation, and I was left questioning whether our evidence and concerns were seriously considered.

When a company is making a decision that can require a guest to pay for alleged damages, there should be a transparent and fair process. Guests should be clearly shown what evidence supports the charge, how Airbnb determined responsibility, and why the guest’s evidence or explanation was rejected.

After this experience, I have very little confidence in Airbnb’s damage-dispute process. As a customer, I expected Airbnb to act as a neutral party and carefully evaluate both sides before reaching a decision.

I would strongly recommend that anyone using Airbnb document everything when checking into and leaving a property—take photos and videos of every room, furniture, appliances, and anything that could potentially be blamed on you later.

This experience has completely changed the way I view Airbnb. I expected much better customer service, transparency, and fairness from a company of this size.

### 1/5 — Help center

*2026-08-23, version 26.34*

The help center is completely useless. We were trying to report a house for safety issues and the help center was straight lying to us and was very rude and disrespectful. The place we were staying is not safe for anyone to stay there. It was fully invested with bugs. We will need to take legal action against them.

### 1/5 — Horrific experience

*2026-08-23, version 26.34*

A 1.5 month booking for $6500 CAD was cancelled while I was in flight to the country of stay (Scotland).
Airbnb offered 20% compensation if I made another replacement booking within a few days but would not allow it to be used on the same Host as cancelled booking.
Booking for stay to start on the day and for 1.5 months was impossible for any reasonable half decent accommodation.
In the end I spent more on hotels and Airbnb refunded the original cost with no compensation whatsoever.

### 1/5 — Bait & Switch

*2026-08-23, version 26.34*

The host switches to another property that was nothing like the photos. Rats, lizards, break-in attempts. I complaines to Airbnb and they said I was lying.

### 1/5 — Locked a door $4985 bill

*2026-08-23, version 26.34*

The app is great most hosts are fantastic however recently i stayed at one place locked an upstairs door and instead of getting a lock smith they broke their own door down and sent me a $4985 bill because of that. Secondly lied and put sheets next to the door they broke and said we left them there. Ignored us all day and sent this message 2 days after the fact wanting 5k for their own choices.

### 1/5 — F Benjamin Anderson

*2026-08-23, version 26.34*

A host left me a bad review for a few tiny things even though he had sheetrock ripped off of an entire wall with exposed pipes and wires. He knew I had my baby there but never mentioned it which was a safety hazard and complete disregard to the safety of my baby. Airbnb did nothing to help rectify the matter. Deleting the app and going back to hotels!

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2026-08-22, version 26.34*

They changed the pricing now it’s per person. So it ends up becoming more than an hotel

### 1/5 — hidden fees

*2026-08-22, version 26.34*

everything else is good except for when the app changes me hidden fees

### 1/5 — No refunds

*2026-08-22, version 26.34*

Booked wrong place tried to cancel 30 seconds after and they wouldn’t let me get a refund charged

### 2/5 — 2 stars on iPad Pro

*2026-08-22, version 26.34*

Simple - fix the UX for dynamic scaling. Tab bar disappears and does not return. Display alignment horrendous.

### 1/5 — Guest Nightmare - Avoid Booking with AirBnB

*2026-08-21, version 26.34*

You want a headache? Book your next stay with AirBnB.

I have never dealt with a more unhelpful customer service team. I regret the day I book an Airbnb to host my family from out of town for my wedding. An absolute nightmare dealing with the team. We have been falsely accused of causing damage to the host's property and blamed us for being negligent. The so-called evidence and documentation they have reviewed is flawed and in their email they say their team has “carefully reviewed” said information/documentation.

The service team resolution team consistently talks in circles to me, they so difficult to understand, their team mumbles and cannot articulate a coherent sentence and effectively communicate.

Prior to the host submitting a damage claim, Airbnb determined the condition warranted a refund to us, my family, roughly a 1/3 of what we paid due to the loss of use and disruption of the stay, how did Airbnb determine that same condition was unquestionably caused by guest neglect rather than a maintenance and property related?

I have yet to receive the specific evidence Airbnb relied upon to conclude that an overflow occurred and in my group caused it. All I’ve heard from Airbnb is that they have reviewed the details of the case and determine the information in the email we received is correct and the host claim was reviewed by our team and the decision was made based on the documentation provided.

This system of problem solving is severely flawed.

Imagine that you booked an Airbnb for your wedding weekend. Only to have water pouring through the ceiling the night before your special event, special event that is supposed to be one of the most important days of your life. At no time did me or anyone in my party overfill the bathtub in the floor above us. Which we reiterated to the host.

The inspection company sent out, had their inspector who did not re-create the event as it occur to test the host’s bathtub.

Instead, the service technician from the plumbing company ran water and splashed water outside of the tub and noted that the splashing was when they began to see water dripping onto the ceiling below. Instead of filling the tub to a normal level to see if the leak would continue to occur in the way it was reported to the host.

Mind you the flooring in the bathroom is tile, so it sounds like they also have a waterproofing, ceiling, construction, or maintenance failure on their hands.

### 3/5 — not what it used to be

*2026-08-21, version 26.34*

Some of these companies get too big for their customers. Cancellation terms have changed since 2024. when I go into the application it does not have a memory of my previous bookings, which were condos and houses for many years. When I booked this time I ended up with a room that looked like an entire condo support did not resolve this. They ask that I accept a voucher with 50% of my money, which is completely unacceptable. Be very careful you won’t get your money back from this app. And you will end up with something you did not expect rather than the privacy that you wanted and the vacation will be ruined.

### 1/5 — problems with site

*2026-08-20, version 26.34*

Tried multiple times to reserve a condo, would not accept my cards, plural. Contacted customer service and she said there was nothing wrong in their end. They wanted me to contact each of my Banks. No thanks I will rent a Hotel.

### 1/5 — Customer for years no problems

*2026-08-20, version 26.34*

Had two HORRIBLE recent experiences on Airbnb after multiple issue free years and several wonderful experiences. Not only were the experiences bad, but Airbnb blamed me for the host issues, as well as harassed me by calling me at 2:57am, waking me up, demanding I get back to them to solve issues on their time even though I had explained they woke me up and I worked at 7am. I will no longer be going back to Airbnb and will be showing everyone the documentation of my horrible stays and customer service by Airbnb.

### 3/5 — Hosts lose!

*2026-08-20, version 26.34*

As a host using this new revised pay schedule, we lose money! When I do the math Airbnb is collecting more of the payout forcing hosts to have to increase our pricing. Why does Airbnb need to collect 15.5%? 10% is fine, Airbnb count your days, other platforms are providing better pay options and hosts will start to prioritize bookings from other sites more.

### 1/5 — Poor Host Support

*2026-08-20, version 26.34*

Airbnb does nothing to support the hosts. Airbnb’s host support and review-dispute process feels rigid and unhelpful. Even when hosts provide documented evidence and request a clear explanation, decisions can remain final with little transparency or meaningful recourse. Hosts deserve a more accountable and balanced support process.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App Charges without verification

*2026-08-24, version 26.34*

The app will charge you non-refundable stays if you swipe the wrong direction.

### 1/5 — Anfitriones engañan Airbnb se lava las manos

*2026-08-24, version 26.34*

### 1/5 — Horrible App

*2026-08-24, version 26.34*

Do not use this app! Use the top two for better service. They allow hidden fees when they say “no hidden fees” and then when you call there is so much noise in the background and are no help whatsoever. My next two vacation planning will never be with them. I’m going to make sure that all of my fellow influencers know to make better choices. And the worst part is that my vacation is in 11 days and my flight and excursions are already paid for. NEVER AGAIN!!

### 1/5 — My friend is a teacher

*2026-08-24, version 26.34*

.

### 1/5 — Poor service with accommodation and poor communication with guest

*2026-08-24, version 26.34*

I would like a full refund of my stay due to neither Airbnb or the host attempting to solve a problem. My day was meant to be for five nights but due to unforeseen circumstances, my train stopped midway to paris and I was unable to get to paris because of this the host rejected my check-in for the first night and Airbnb said that I had to book a hotel from my side. Throughout my stay, I was abused and disrespected throughout the three days that I stayed with the guest. Her reasoning for kicking me out out of the Airbnb was because I forgot to put a sign on whilst I was in the house and I forgot to text her before coming in. Additionally, after being kicked out of the apartment, Airbnb did not cooperate with me. They asked me to book a different hotel again by myself. On my final day offered to refund the price I paid for the hotels. Police was involved in this situation and I asked Airbnb. They could provide an alternative accommodation from their side and they offered me to book a place from a different for hotels. I did not trust this website therefore I said that it was okay because I had two more nights left and that I was okay with staying for the rest of my time in paris. Furthermore, the host threatened to kick me out and lied that to leave her apartment three times within the same day. I was trying my best not to any problems. However, this experience with Airbnb affected my overall experience with my first time in a country. I would like all of you to think about booking a hotel next time.

### 1/5 — Airbnb scams hardworking people

*2026-08-24, version 26.34*

Scamming people on prices from person to person and minute by minute. If you like your hard earned cash find it on Airbnb and go straight to the source, if you can. I will be avoiding Airbnb all together.

### 1/5 — Airbnb Is Disgusting

*2026-08-24, version 26.34*

Airbnb should be permanently taken down. It’s completely unregulated and hosts can get away with so many horrendous things and they know it so majority of housing is just being put solely on airbnb so they can be slumlords without any repercussion
Nearly every single booking I have ever done on this app has had problems with the buildings and horrible hosts. Leaking ceilings, unkept buildings, glass bottles shattered and never cleaned up, their “lap dogs” that don’t even speak English banging for 5 minutes straight on your door with ZERO warning beforehand that they were coming (just for them to hold up their phone on a call with the actual host anyways cause they can’t speak English??? Why not just call if I’m going to be talking to someone on the phone anyways????), being moved to different apartments due to complications but lazy hosts not changing the bookings causing problems where you’re in a place that gets booked over, and not to mention 9/10 bookings are in the most unsanitary conditions when you actually arrive and don’t have the things offered I can’t tell you how many times I arrived to a place that “has laundry and dishes and an oven and full-sized fridge” only to have none of that and not even a mattress on the beds only a box spring, had no water during the winter, no garbage service for MOST of the bookings, some places offer parking but don’t have enough parking and some places even lying about the amount of rooms in a listing because they don’t have enough parking and know, and extremely unkept parking/driveways where vehicles get stuck in the winter had to get tow trucks many times one of the tow trucks even had to get a larger tow truck which almost got stuck as well

### 1/5 — Ux nightmare

*2026-08-24, version 26.34*

App is incredibly unintuitive to use.

### 1/5 — Extremely disappointing support experience

*2026-08-24, version 26.34*

I spent an entire day dealing with a Case Manager named Martha who kept repeating the same sentence, gave incorrect information, and pressured me to take actions that were not even possible in the app. She refused to provide clear guidance, ignored the situation I was dealing with, and wasted hours without offering any real help. This level of support is unacceptable for a platform of this size. The app itself is fine, but the customer service needs serious improvement.

### 1/5 — Great Except for False Rate Bait and Switch

*2026-08-24, version 26.34*

This app very blatantly falsely advertises one rate for a listing and then as soon as you click reserve the rate is different (and that’s not even counting the added tax. If technical support wants to contact me and claim this is some kind of bug I can provide screenshots and listing detail. But it smacks me as intentional and it makes comparison with other booking sites difficult.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — T

*2026-08-26, version 26.34*

Always a fabulous experience using this app! Makes booking easy!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-08-21, version 26.34*

Awesome app and company. I love hosting here.

### 5/5 — Solid app

*2026-08-18, version 26.33*

On the whole, I think it represents good value. 15% for a stable app, ID platform, listing, and automated payment.

I also like the staff. I had a client arrive and he was adding a lot of stress for trivial issues. I called AirBnB and was able to give him a full refund while also getting him out of my home. I am sure this is what he wanted, but I don’t care: AirBnB got the job done fast and I just lost 3 night of revenue. The support from AirBnB is worth it.

On the margins, I wish the pricing mechanism was easier. In my case, I have to set up two listings in the same home (2 room and 3 room options) but each listing is totally independent. If they were linked on the backend, I would only have to make my changes once.

### 5/5 — Caloundra's Golden Beach Retreat Entire rental unit in Golden Beach, Australia: hosts Leisa & Greg

*2026-08-09, version 26.32*

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ❤️

We had such a wonderful stay with Leisa and Greg. Their place was clean, comfortable and peaceful, with the added bonus of being so close to the beach. We loved the pool, the thoughtful little treats, and the games and toys for the children.

Leisa and Greg were warm and welcoming—the perfect hosts—while still giving us our privacy. The late checkout was such a thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated. We also loved meeting their gentle dog, Ben, and their two friendly cats, Frank and Lucky, who popped by to say hello.

Thank you for having us—we truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. *Highly recommend! ❤️

### 5/5 — Fabulous stay

*2026-08-07, version 26.32*

We stayed at El Mirador in Los Cristianos last week. It’s a lovely, modern apartment with everything you need. Inside and outside very comfortable. There are a number of steps to go up and down, which we probably noticed more because of the intense heat! It was very hot so the air conditioning was welcome. This costs 1€ for 1.5 hours. Thanks to Pat for our return airport journey. Very friendly and cheaper than a taxi at 25€ each way. Would definitely return and recommend. Sarah, the host, was very good communicating with my before our trip.

### 5/5 — They found exactly what I wanted, I urge you to reach out if you’re In need of a nice resort.

*2026-07-27, version 26.30*

I had a fantastic experience using this service, all thanks to Delgadolewis041@ gmailcom for the help I received. They took their time to understand exactly what I wanted in a resort and found the absolute perfect match for me. The communication was excellent, professional, and took all the stress out of planning. If you want a team that genuinely listens and delivers, this service is a must-use! I highly recommend, Thank you!

### 5/5 — Top App zum Unterkunft buchen

*2026-07-21*

### 5/5 — Easy

*2026-07-15, version 26.27*

### 5/5 — Great app
