I deleted it and tried again. Still no function. ### 1/5 — Ugly App *2021-08-29, version 2.2.4* As the prior review noted, very challenging to use this app. Cumbersome in pretty much every respect. Worse, though, is that I could not turn off the app, unload it, or find any way to get out of the app once it was loaded. I literally had to reboot my phone! ### 1/5 — App Just Doesn’t Work Any Longer *2021-08-29, version 2.2.4* When I bought the borescope and Airbox in January 2020 everything worked fine. I’ve since upgraded my phone and tablet and the app no longer shows an image. The borescope is working fine: the LEDs light and, when plugged in to a computer over USB, the images are available. I think the Airbox hardware is working: I can see the WiFi from both phone and table. But the Airbox software has broken. I hope the developer publishes a new version that is tested with current iOS and iPadOS. ### 1/5 — Does not work… *2021-07-06, version 2.2.4* Tried this app both on my iPhone 12+ and iPad 11 Pro both running ios14.6 and there is no image from my Ablescope VA400. ### 1/5 — Cant view recording. *2021-04-21, version 2.2.4* I have an iPhone 11 with up to date IOS and everytime you goto view the video recording the app crashes. WiFi connects, screen comes up, light comes on, but no image. Documentation is awful and does not match the software or hardware. Total loss of $300. The iPad connects to the device but there is a security issue and nothing happens. No image on the screen. I've been working with the distributor, they are sending me a another one. Scope works great, app doesn’t connect to the signal. All you get is the Home Screen. I am able to connect via Wi-Fi to the Vividia Wi-Fi box just fine, but the app displays nothing. Looks like I paid extra for a boat anchor. I’ll try using the scope wired next. I bought the Wi-Fi version to use on iPad. This app is worse than the other app they tell you to use which is completely worthless. OMG!!! Wow does this work well! With the metal storage box and the high quality construction this is an amazing tool ! The money I already saved not having to pull just one jug on my airplane because of minimal compression but no bad valves is awesome! It even comes with extra camera protectors and a tool to install them! If I only had one of these scopes sooner! Got concerned when I read the two one star reviews as I was downloading the app. Was all ready for a nightmare, but it was a perfect plug and play. They must have changed/fixed something? Easy to setup and smooth connection. ### 3/5 — Works fine, but… *2020-08-08, version 2.2.4* The app actually works just fine, and I had no issues connecting to my borescope, taking pictures, and using all the different functions. However, for an app that advertises itself as being in “English,“ why can’t the developers release their update notes in English, and hire somebody to write a decent set of English instructions and documentation? ### 3/5 — Needs work *2020-06-05, version 2.2.0* I used this for the first time and yes you can record snapshots and videos. Now the deficiencies. First. When you push the snapshot button on the iPad screen there is no indication that it actually worked. There needs to be feedback on the screen. Second. For some reason the button on the cable didn't work which would have made taking snapshots easier. Third. The pictures can only be copied to the Photos folder one at a time and is very cumbersome. Forth the videos can't be copied to another folder for alternative use. Fifth. The app appears to list the photos and video in random order with no ability to sort. If I'm wrong about these, please educate me. I've heard the PC app works better. ### 2/5 — This is the wrong app for my camera. *2024-02-28, version 2.2.4* One set of instructions I was using said to use this app and I had the same problem of everything working but it would not show an image. I figured out I needed to scan a QR code which led me to download an app called WifiImage which works for my camera.
