Any device you have can be used to play audio on any modern wireless speaker setup, even a walkman lol. It’s simply incredible. Thanks app creator! You deserve top rankings!!! ### 5/5 — Super App um Schallplatten via AirPlay zu spielen - mit noch viel Potenzial! *2024-06-13, version 2.0.1* Einfach das iPhone per USB-Kabel an den Dual DT 250 Plattenspieler anschließen, die App starten und gewünschte HomePods, AirPods etc. auswählen und das gute Vinyl genießen. Es funktioniert, einfach! … Leider schmiert die App häufig ab, wenn man nebenbei andere Apps benutzt, die selbst Sounds verwenden (Bsp. TikTok, Signal-Messenger, Snapchat etc.). Es sollte auch die Siri-Verwendung verbessert werden. So kann man bedauerlicherweise nicht über Siri festlegen, auf welchen AirPlay-Geräten der Sound wiedergegeben werden soll. Das wäre aber praktisch, da das iPhone am Plattenspieler liegen bleiben muss, man selbst jedoch nicht immer im selben Raum sich aufhält. So wäre es gut, wenn man in einem anderen Raum, mit HomePods, über Siri die Wiedergabe steuern könnte. ### 5/5 — Good app but does not work with Sonos USB-C Adapter *2024-06-06, version 2.0.1* Good app and beautiful idea, kudos for programming; but sadly this app currently does not directly work with the Sonos USB-C adapter with my Pro-Ject Debut Pro and the Pro-Ject Phono Box S2 AMP connected to my iPad Pro (2018- 12.9“). The Sonos USB-C adapter does work and the audio-in to the iPad is working, the internal iPad speakers play the turntables signal and the integrated memo app also records the input audio. But if you try to airplay the audio via the AirChord 2 app nothing happens. No sound is played on the selected HomePods, they just lit up. I'll order the iRig stream as a second hardware option and try this route. Update soon. Update: it works now pretty good with the iRig stream device. The app instantly recognizes the iRig hardware and audio is able to be airplayed to my various HomePods. ### 5/5 — Airplay your record player *2024-05-13* This app is awesome! The functionality is flawless. My setup: Pro-Ject Debut White —> Pro-Ject Phono Box USB —> Lightning Camera Adapter III —> My iPhone —> HomePods in all rooms. Compared with my previous Sonos Setup with Port here some notes: The delay is equal (or little faster) to Port (with long Puffer selected as it is important for stability). It’s super easy to use and you can group HomePods together as a stereo. This app + a $20 adapter was all I needed. ### 5/5 — Love it!! *2025-10-10, version 2.5* Just reacquainting myself with Dark Side of the Moon and realised I never gave a review in App Store. Far as I know, this the best, and possibly only, way of playing vinyl through HomePods, and it’s great! I use it with an old iPhone 6 and a dual input lightening adapter, one USB to connect the Pro-ject Debut Recordmaster II turntable, which has a USB input, the other lightening to charge the phone. I just need to temporarily switch the audio output setting on Apple TV to tv speakers to free up the HomePods, manually select the HomePods in AirChord, and that’s pretty much it. I use Siri for volume control (hey Siri reduce volume to 25%) or the phone controls. The audio quality is fine for me. Theoretically it’s better through my iPhone 13 but I can barely tell the difference. A fantastic option for anyone wanting to get the most out their HomePods and avoid the clutter of having an extra pair of speakers. It is an awesome use-case for an old iPhone 8… mine is permanently plugged into a turntable and allows me to turn the turntable into something that’s multi-speaker airplay capable… truly amazing. I noticed the new song detection feature and it’s very nice to have. I would love if you could tap on the album art at the bottom of the screen and have it expand to a nice full-screen view.
