## Newest reviews (4 of 24)

### 2/5 — Crashy

*2024-04-13, version 2.1.5*

As a previous review said, this crashes… a lot! Also missing features like timers and Alexa integration. Does the very basic stuff, just.

### 2/5 — Second review.

*2023-12-11, version 2.1.2*

Good app to control the AC.
Good integration with MHI!
The only downside it scenes are starting ahead of the schedule as to reach the set temperature.
Another downside: remote control are not working anymore for weekly scheduling.

### 2/5 — Frustrated with the constant crashing.

*2020-11-04, version 1.8.1*

Consistently crashes. Not to mention I don’t actually have all options as on my remote. For instance night shift. But the crashing is most frustrating.

### 1/5 — Crashes a lot

*2020-10-02, version 1.8.1*

Does work but crashes a lot

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not connecting

*2026-07-08, version 2.2.3*

During the summer (I presume when a lot of people are using the app at once) my AC units either don’t load up, so I can’t control them, or the take about 10-15 minutes to load up.

With regard to capability, I have other units with different apps where you have a lot more options

### 1/5 — Not working properly

*2026-01-10, version 2.2.3*

The scenes keep switching themselves off and on in the last few months. We never know whether the programmed schedule will mean there will be heat or not. Disappointed.

### 1/5 — WiFi failure

*2025-09-17, version 2.2.3*

WiFi doesn’t work

### 1/5 — App Does Not Work!!

*2024-06-22, version 2.1.5*

The App is useless does not connect to the WiFi!!

### 1/5 — Drama!

*2023-01-23, version 2.0.1*

9 of the 10 times no connection, very bad app

### 1/5 — App crashes and control is basic

*2021-10-16, version 1.9.1*

App crashes .. Airconwithme adapter stopped AC sleep timer from working and the controls are just basic leaving some useful functions of the device remote

Manni

### 1/5 — App could do with a UI and stability refresh

*2021-07-06, version 1.8.1*

App clearly has not been updated with a better UI and keeps crashing on my iPhone (iOS 14) Also there is no integration with google/Alexa or homekits so could do with a lot of improvements

### 1/5 — Buggy and crashes

*2021-06-01, version 1.8.1*

All this app does is crash.

### 1/5 — Problems with setup - didn’t work

*2021-05-13, version 1.8.1*

Still not working. About 2 hours trying so far. Not talking at all

### 1/5 — Absolute rubbish, doesn’t have side vane function

*2021-04-02, version 1.8.1*

It doesn’t not read the correct room temperature .
Crashes almost every use.
Very basic and clumsy.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Lacking Smart Home Features

*2024-12-11, version 2.2.1*

I think for me, while having this is super useful when I want to manually do something, and great for setting up scenes (although a bit clunky), the fact I can’t ask Alexa or Siri or Google to also do this is a shame.

iOS 18 added a whole bunch of new amazing stuff around App Intents so that ‘new’ Siri can better interact with the apps on devices. I’d suggest looking into this so it helps open up a world of home automation possibilities.

### 5/5 — Not reliable

*2023-08-03, version 2.1.1*

Despite many changes in router, the unit constantly disconnects itself. As it has no hard wire capability, we may never have the unit working

### 5/5 — Very good app

*2022-07-09, version 2.0.1*

Very good app would love to see this integrated with Alexa and google home

### 4/5 — Good App

*2021-09-01, version 1.9.1*

If it had timer settings and direction adjustment then it would get 5. We install it often and recommend this app/product

### 4/5 — App occasionally drops out

*2020-11-04, version 1.8.1*

Generally I’m pleased with the app as it controls my 2 Mitsubishi units exactly as I have it set.
However, since updating to ios 14.1 the app occasionally closes itself shortly after opening and my ‘Scenes’ disappear! After five minutes or so I reopen the app and it’s back to normal.
It needs to be updated for the latest iOS

### 4/5 — If you WiFi drops out......

*2020-04-30, version 1.8.1*

It can take 12-18 hours for all the units to connect if the Wi-Fi drops out for any reason. Keep this in mind if you have a less than perfect router.

### 3/5 — Dreadful app for such an expensive option

*2023-06-14, version 2.1*

I have been using the app with my two Mitsubishi splits for about 4 years now. The app used to crash and it still crashes. During the hot summer, often the app couldn’t talk to the system presumably because everything goes through some remote server that couldn’t handle the amount of traffic to control hundreds of systems? As others have said, installing the modules into the air handlers basically removes an awful lot of the options you should be able to control with the IR remotes, and a lot of the options that should be available in the app (such as side to side vent control, Eco and Boost modes) just aren’t, and the app has never been improved or updated. Time scheduling does work using ‘scenes’ but could be so much better, and why no integration with Alexa etc? You expect developers to improve features and performance over time, not just sit back and take the money for a product that is clearly not keeping up with technology.

### 3/5 — Buggy

*2022-11-19, version 2.0.1*

Ok app
 Doesn’t keep to temperature
Lacks a timer

### 3/5 — App has potential to be much better.

*2021-09-15, version 1.9.1*

Using this app to control three MHI SRKxxZS units. Setup was a bit fiddly as the instructions were slightly confusing and the WiFi modules were hidden inside the air conditioning units so couldn’t see the status LEDs. Once I understood the concept of connecting the modules to WiFi and then adding them as controllable devices to the app, they seemed stable and worked well. There are a few downsides though. The app crashes a lot, there are a few useful functions missing (like ‘timers’ and setting the fan speed to ‘auto’, for example) but most disappointing is that there is no integration with Alexa, Google or HomeKit. That would definitely make it a five star product in my view if they could sort that out. Overall, it’s a good app but has potential to be much better.

### 3/5 — Poor relation to Intesis

*2019-10-03, version 1.6.2*

Given this is a clone of the IntesisHome app (which I use for other a/c units) it’s rubbish. Missing scheduling facilities & integration with IFTTT.
If you are looking to install new a/c make sure you specify the IntesisHome interface instead of this poor MHI imitation.
