Is there any chance that the Aircraft Airspeed app can be made compatible for iOS 12?

These are by far the nicest aircraft gages out there. I own the other three, but it would sure be nice to have this one as well.

Can it be converted to 64 bit?

If you want to see how big the cows can get down load this it will really mess you up! Don't use it In a plane out three horizons were out In the bush and we were desperate after we ended upside down with this app on cloud we decided to use a bit of rock on my shoe lace..... Works a treat

Screenshots are misleading. Does not display rolling motion that actual instrument displays. Graphics are jagged and pixelated. Looks like a bad Photoshop job. At least it was only 99c.

Its not OK, that you are not notified before purchase, that this app  is completely useless in a real plane.

Cette application ne sert qu'au sol et surtout pas en vol !
On n'a jamais vu un horizon fonctionner a partir d'un accéléromètre. Essayer le en vol et vous verrez qu'il ne bouge pas lors d'un virage.
Il est même suicidaire d'utiliser un tel appareil en vol réel en remplacement d'un vrai horizon.
A retirer de l'apple store au plus vite ainsi que tous ses cousins.

The lag on this makes it useless. No reason for it either since the accelerometer on the iPhone 10 provides near instant orientation reference. Don’t waste your money!

Très beau et très bien réalisé. Je n’ai rien à dire.
La description est assez bien faite. Le développeur semble savoir manier les mots pour ne pas prétendre que ça jour le rôle d’un horizon artificiel d’avion. Relisez, vous verrez.
Je mettrai 5 étoiles car il le mérite lorsqu’il ajoutera clairement la mention: « Danger: à ne pas utiliser en avion: risque de fausses indications en présence de mouvements ». En fait, c’est dans son intérêt... Si un accident arrive un jour avec cette application en marche, il aura des problèmes, même si le texte est bien fait.
Cet instrument utilise un accéléromètre et non un gyroscope, axe tournant. Il indique donc une verticale apparente, par mesure d’accélération. Et même l’iPhone 7 que j’ai n’a pas un gyroscope...
Encore un doute ? Fixez votre iPhone sur un support en voiture, et freinez.... Vous verrez, l’horizon indiquera une forte descente.
Mieux, faites un looping à g positif dans un avion, il indiquera tout le long que vous êtes en palier.
Je modifierai ce commentaire lorsque la mention « danger » apparaîtra.
A part ça, l’appli est belle et permet d’avoir un beau simulateur d’horizon pour des cours au sol.

Bought this to use with other apps I use for microlight flying. Would not dream of cloud flying and relying on this app, however in the back of my mind it might be useful if you got caught out (and anyway I love stuff like this).

I would love to see a Banking Indicator developed as well. Possibly by easily converting graphics and the roll angles of the off-road app into the Aviation version. Clustering them all together into a Console style multi app bundle to buy as one a single purchase. That and an Aviation style weather radar is all I can think that would make a perfect compliment to these instruments.

Pilote de DR400, je ne l'utiliserais en vol qu'en dernier recours ... Meme si l'application semble fiable, je ne pense pas qu'il faille encourager des pratiques non "corporate" ;)

Superbe application, on s'y croit vraiment. Sean (le développeur) a peur que je me plante si je l'utilise dans mon avion. Mais il a tort, son joujou marche super bien sur mon Ipod Touch. Une réflexion à se poser sur le coût d'équipement des avions de construction amateur. Un HdV gyro coûte 2000€, un centrale numérique basée sur des accéloromètres coute 4000€. Un Ipodtouch coûte 220€ + 0,79€ application...

Accelerometer based simulator horizon works well and best of all it can be zeroed. For obvious reasons it won't work in a real aircraft soy to lack of gyros.

This is a great application for classroom demonstrations. If you are thinking of purchasing it as an emergency backup Attitude Indicator in the airplane it will not work for that. I have flown with this in the aircraft and the only indications that are accurate are pitch information as long as the airspeed remains constant. No bank information is presented in coordinated flight as the accelerometer in the Ipodtouch is incapable of detecting that the bank is occurring due to the centripetal force created during the turn. Yawing the aircraft with the ruder produces a bank indication opposite to the direction of yaw. Relying on this application in the aircraft during flight in instrument meteorological conditions could lead to total loss of aircraft control and possible structural failure due to excessive G loading of the aircraft.
