I love the AirData website. I use it all the time. I just wish that they would spend some time moving some of the functionalities on the website into the app, at least as much as possible. For instance, there are times that I need to show a potential client or someone I am working with logbook information, such as, total number of flight hours, make and model flown, number of hours flown in the last 90 days, etc. The website gives you a badge, that summarizes that data. You cannot pull up a badge on this app to show anybody. On the website I can at least pull up a list of all of the certificates and trainings that I have done, even the ones that they don’t process into a badge. There are a lot of search and rescue training courses that AirData doesn’t make badges for, but people need to see. On the website, I can at least save those certificates and pull them up. On this app, I cannot even pull up the table that lists the courses. So, overall this app is great if you’re a hobbyist or a recreationalist, but if you’re working on a professional level in either the civilian or public service side, you have to be using the website, instead of the app. ========== previous review =============== I am a former aviation safety manager for a major US airline. This app gives me almost everything I need for a complete personal Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) program for my private drone services company in retirement. A safety assurance program for my Safety Management Systems certification. Well done. Reach out to me if you want some ideas for improvements. ### 4/5 — Airdata UAV *2025-05-31, version 1.35.3* Good app tells the wind speed ### 3/5 — Helpful app but needs more settings options *2025-04-25, version 1.34.9* In the UK we generally use metric for altitude, temperatures but mph for wind speed. I would like to choose the units per metric. They can provide extremely useful data. But the user interface needs more work. For instance, I cannot find any way of asking to upload data on the Apple apps. The arrow keys in the upper left corner of the General screen are all but invisible on the iPhone 11 and are invisible on the IPad Mini 4. On the Android version I was able to request data to be uploaded. Please keep working on this. This would be a 5star but needs to be fixed ### 1/5 — Very Poor App *2023-05-04, version 1.18* I subscribe to UAV but this app is really poor text is outside the screen, I can’t get my data (I can on my Mac but not this app) it’s just so rubbish so you have been warned. ### 1/5 — Not working on iPhone 13 Pro Max ! *2023-01-11* Still not working. ### 1/5 — no longer updating flight logs from DJI mini 3 pro *2022-09-12, version 1.15* very annoyed there isn’t a help or support link within the ios app. This software is now i useable after i paid a year subscription. The last successful upload was July 11th, and have flown several times since. Uploads and sync now buttons do nothing , so connected to aircraft and got some response when synced. 7 flight logs uploaded it said !!! yay !!! so i refreshed data and nothing !! so i logged out and back in … nothing !! i want my money back and will log complaint with apple if the developers cannot fix this problem ! ### 1/5 — Not so free *2022-06-13, version 1.15* Subscription based free app, you can’t do much without a subscription, but the most ridiculous thing is that their cheapest plan still won’t be enough to get you started using the app. 🤣 You’re better off using your DJI app as it offers the same services as their free and cheapest plan, plus more. All it offers for those who doesn’t wanna spend £6.99+ per month is to look at your flight data, but only up to 100. Not to mention that it didn’t even sync any of my flights from the past 2 years… 😬 In conclusion they would much rather have your drone fail and collect your data than help you. 🤷🏻‍♂️ (not to mention that even though I didn’t allow to share my location, it still got it correct, so what was the point of asking?) ### 1/5 — Da erro para abrir o aplicativo *2021-12-26, version 1.14* Mesmo com a senha e e-mails corretos, não consigo entrar no aplicativo pois fica notificando que os dados de login estão errados. ### 1/5 — Crashes when preflight check started *2021-03-16* As soon as I click on the Preflight Checklist the whole app crashes. By far one of the best apps for diagnostics reports flight log data device data control data, and the list goes on. ### 5/5 — A Must Have App For Drone Pilots *2024-01-13* It has great weather forecast for 15 days and keeps a ton of information about your flights, drones and batteries. It logs all your flights so there is no need to keep a manual log. Also great that it work on my iPhone and iPads. I like to use my IPad at home for planing and use an iPad Mini when not I travel.
