However, this app’s use of AI is straight up terrible. It doesn’t really seem to use Reddit, so there aren’t many human posts, and most of the replies are just AI. Think of it this way: you have AIs making claims about projects they’ve made that of course, being AI, haven’t actually been created, with 10 different AI profiles responding to a fake post made by AI. I don’t understand what this app is fundamentally trying to accomplish for users, as its purposes seem completely contradictory to Gigabrains profile analysis tool and what it was originally created for. ### 2/5 — Totally different than gigabrain. Not as good *2025-06-26* Gigabrain web app was successful so they put out this mobile app. Marketing didn’t clearly distinguish that this mobile app does something entirely different than the web app, and completely misses the power of the web app. Specifically, on the web app, you ask a question and it combs thru old Reddit posts to find relevant info, then uses ai to synthesize it. This mobile app doesn’t do this. Instead, it’s more like quora. It’s just a social q&a platform for users to answer each other’s questions, except instead of waiting for a real person to answer, the app gives you an ai answer upfront so you aren’t left waiting for human answers. This app does not mine the data trove of Reddit.
