## What is Aires Meet?

Aires Meet brings native voice calling to your iPhone for the Aires platform. Built on top of CallKit and a real-time media stack, it delivers fast, reliable audio calls that feel like a part of iOS  not a webpage in a wrapper.

### 1.3.8 — 2026-06-07

Calling fixes:
• Group video conferences now open into the proper video grid (the overlay was getting hidden in the previous build).
• You'll now see a clearer Android prompt for microphone access when you join a call for the first time, instead of a silent "audio source" error.

### 1.3.7 — 2026-06-03

Behind-the-scenes improvements and minor UI polish in the chat list. Calls, video, and notifications work exactly as before.

### 1.3.6 — 2026-06-01

Video calls are now in the app. Tap the camera button in any chat to start a 1:1 video call — answer it just like an audio call, then tap Camera on the call screen to share your video. Tap again to hide. The full call experience (incoming-call screen, lockscreen ring, Dynamic Island, end-call cleanup) is the same as audio calls, just with the picture.

### 1.3.5 — 2026-05-31

When you answer a call, the caller's profile picture now shows on the in-call screen — not just on the incoming ring. Same for outbound: you'll see who you're talking to throughout the call.

  1.3.5 is a single-fix polish release on top of 1.3.3 (build 93). The caller's profile picture was already showing on the CallKit incoming-call UI, but the in-call screen that appears after the user
  accepts was rendering a blank avatar because the native AppDelegate's onCallAccepted MethodChannel invocation dropped the callerAvatar field when forwarding to the Flutter call screen. 1.3.5 plumbs
  that field through end-to-end.

  No new features, no new permissions, no new third-party SDKs.

  Same configuration carried over from 1.3.3:
  - App-level biometric (Face ID / Touch ID) prompt at cold start is OFF by default. Account is protected by login session cookie + 2FA; users who want OS-level lock can enable iOS's per-app Face ID
  gate via Settings → Face ID & Passcode → Other Apps.
  - CallKit remains deselected for the China mainland storefront (Guideline 5 — MIIT).

We've made calling and cold-start faster:
  • Removed the on-launch unlock prompt so you land in your chats instantly
  • Cleaner accept flow for incoming calls
  For OS-level protection, you can still enable Settings → Face ID & Passcode → Other Apps → Aires Meet.
