## What is AirportData?

AirportData gives pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and travelers instant access to:

- Live METAR and TAF weather reports with decoded details

• New "Restricted" filter and warning badges to flag
    private and restricted-use airfields in your search
    results.
  • Detail screen now shows a warning banner on private
    airports, reminding you that prior permission is
    required before landing.

    explicitly say "private."

iPad support — AirportInfo now runs natively on iPad. Search results use a responsive 2- or  3-column grid in landscape, and content is laid out to take advantage of the larger screen.       
                                                                                                   
Airspace classification — Every US airport now shows its FAA airspace class (Class B, C, D, or  E/G) on the info card, with a color-coded badge and short description.
                                                                                                      
Filter by airspace — The airport list has a new chip filter at the top. Tap Class B, C, D, or E/G (or any combination) to narrow down the results — useful when a busy area returns dozens of small GA strips you don't need.                                                                           

Open in Maps — Tap the location map on any airport's detail page to open its position in your maps app (Apple Maps on iOS, Google Maps. A confirmation prompt prevents accidental app switches.                                                                   

Refreshed app icon — The home screen icon has been re-cropped to fill its tile properly.
