It is always asking me to purchase a new subscription, even when it renewed a week ago, according to App Store records. Either give me my new database, or give me my money back. This is a recurring problem that has happened 2 times in last year, and developer site does not advertise a support location to address it directly with them. ### 4/5 — Iphone5 *2014-01-22* Good program but it would be nice to provide an opportunity to change the font for the iPhone, it is very small letters! ### 3/5 — Search with pin drop *2013-07-18, version 3.5* This is a good app. It does have search from current location, but it would be nice if you could search from pin drop. ### 2/5 — Airports 4pilots *2013-04-22* Total waste of $'s. Apparently the cost of the app and the .99 cents every few months is for only a year. After that they want 5.00 per month or 35.00 a year to keep it going. It's worth the initial cost for some of the info, NOT worth the cost after a year. For that price you should get alot more airport info which you don't. In the last =few years it has gone from not dependable to not useable. It says global data base, all I wanted was Canada. It says I’ve ordered and paid for it. It stil will not show Vancouver BC. Wants me to buy Canada database, even though the page says I’ve bought it. They have turned into a completely non supported app, with major flaws, and out of date info on US airports. Not sure what they have become, but global airport support is not one of their capabilities! ### 1/5 — Holdup *2017-08-07, version 3.5* This app is a holdup. You pay to purchase WORLD airports database, but you only get to see USA airports. You have to buy the rest of the world's airports. (that means BUYER BEWARE in pilot-speak) *2014-01-23* I can't believe I didn't read the reviews more closely and I just wasted $7 of my hard-earned first-year probation pay on this piece of crap app. It is NOT a world edition if you charge me more just to get basic functionality in places like Japan (where my company flies often). Tem programas de 1 dolar melhores.. Tente achar Maricá SDMC ou outro aerodromo menos importante que vai bater no vazio... Decepção e dolares gastos inutilmente. Não caia nesse... So not only does this not cover you if you live elsewhere ... The charges are monthly not one offs and each country has an extra charge ... Not happy - feel I have been conned out of money... I didn't realise it was so easy to buy something off AppStore that didn't actually do anything. I paid £4.99 for an app with no data so I've not been able to evaluate it to see if it's worth it and so i bought the UK region for £2.99 realising its only a months subscription! Of course having purchased the app from the UK imagine how delighted I was to find the app downloads with the US region. You also think your getting maps as part of the database but your actually getting a google map plugin, so no sectionals, wonderful! Furthermore, I downloaded Foreflight and that comes with really useful data out of the box with a time limited trial. No catches. Basically Airports4Pilots seems to be, in my opinion, a blatant money generating app for no value. A complete and utter waste of money. Spend yours elsewhere.
