### 2/5 — Free version is terrible now

*2026-05-14, version 5.0.0*

The free version of this app used to be great but it is now terrible. Don’t bother downloading unless you’re happy to fork out for the subscription. The screen is crowded with UPGRADE TO PREMIUM everywhere getting in the way so you can’t see anything. Can’t click on any local stations to see details (which you ARE allowed to do in free version!!) because a whole screen pop-up saying ENHANCED MAP ZOOM BUY BUY BUY takes over even though I’m not trying to zoom.
If I can’t access something in free version, then just make it so my clicks do nothing. Stealing the whole screen to shove BUYBUYBUYSPENDSPENDSPEND in my face is infuriating. If the free version is supposed to make me want to purchase a subscription, it’s not working. I have never wanted to disengage with an app faster. Truly a shame because I used to use this frequently to submit symptoms data. You’d think exchanging data would be worth a damn but apparently not.

### 1/5 — Pay app

*2025-11-22, version 4.0.9*

Used to be free but just like anything else you have to pay a subscription. No thanks.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-10-30, version 4.0.7*

Ruined a good app, totally useless to me now. I need to know when certain plants are in season, now you want $$ and it’s not worth it. But of course you will have some excuse as to why you charging. This new technology wasn’t worth the upgrade!

### 1/5 — 👎 Bad Update. Inaccurate. And costs.

*2025-10-17, version 4.0.6*

The newest “pretty” update that the developers say they had no choice but to build is so dreadfully inaccurate, and the details of pollen levels is hidden behind a paywall. The developers admit they receive government grant money for this project, then they charge the user. Doesn’t see right.

### 2/5 — Better App, but minimal data without Subscription

*2025-09-19, version 4.0.2*

The App is better, but the information available without a subscription has been heavily reduced and apparently the websites showing today’s pollen count are no longer updated.
I would consider a subscription, but the price is far too high.

### 1/5 — Premium?

*2025-09-04, version 4.0.2*

A paid subscription service for a product funded by research grants - absolutely DISGUSTING!!

### 1/5 — Used to be great until today’s fancy update

*2025-08-30, version 4.0.1*

This was an excellent app that clearly and concisely showed what I needed.

Unfortunately this new ‘fancy’ update is just a confusing jumble with articles and other data that I don’t need.
I made a big mistake in updating and wish I had not bothered.
Now I will have to delete it and do without the useful information.

### 5/5 — Huge help in allergy season

*2023-09-16, version 3.9.13*

This app helps me decide whether to exercise outside vs inside during allergy season and reassures me that my respiratory symptoms have external sources and aren’t in my head or exaggerated.

### 4/5 — Good

*2023-09-13, version 3.9.13*

Good app - when it’s working

### 1/5 — This app is hard to navigate

*2023-06-26, version 3.9.13*

I find this app very hard to navigate.
I don’t get the notifications for the pollen days.
Pollens only get updated every 24 hours.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 5.0.2 — 2026-08-24

This update makes symptom logging faster, map insights clearer, and sharing more convenient.

A clearer map
• Report markers now cluster automatically, reducing overlap at lower zoom levels.
• The timeline starts collapsed and expands when playback begins.
• Tap a group of symptom reports to view the severity distribution and switch between Time, Age and Gender breakdowns.

Faster daily check-ins
• Dashboard and Me now include a simple smiley check-in for recording how you feel. A brief acknowledgment is shown the first time you use it.
• With location enabled, your check-in is saved immediately, with options to undo or continue adding details. Without location, your selection is not saved until you continue and complete the log.
• Your Dashboard selection carries over to Me, resumes after the smiley question, and tracks daily completion separately for each profile.
• A new floating shortcut and one-question-at-a-time flow make full reports easier to complete.

Easier sharing
• Share tiles directly from More.
• After taking a screenshot on Dashboard or a Measure detail screen, you can choose to create a share card.

A refreshed Me and Communities
• Me is now focused on your personal symptoms. Review your history and compare it with averages for your selected location, with a layer selector for different comparisons.
• Communities brings community news and updates together in one place.

More improvements
• Added support for iOS Home Screen widgets.
• Improved loading states, layout and overall stability across Dashboard and Measure details.
