### 1/5 — Can’t login

*2022-06-03, version 2.14*

Please fix the login issue otherswise this app is useless

### 1/5 — iPad fail

*2022-04-22, version 2.14*

Don’t use this app on an ipad. Locks on a page & can’t go back. Have deleted app 3 times & reinstalled, still comes back on locked page, also doesn’t display a lot the restricted flying areas. Designers need to do a lot on this app to make it work!

### 1/5 — It’s a dog

*2022-03-26, version 2.14*

Maybe the developers should try signing up a new account a few times! . Buggy and locked out- what a piece of junk

### 1/5 — Super slow

*2022-02-04, version 2.13*

App is really slow. It takes too much time to load.

### 1/5 — No response

*2022-01-04, version 2.13*

Tried for first time no response from anyone still showing pending approval

### 1/5 — App is crashing

*2021-12-28, version 2.13*

iPad mini 6 - app is crashing after opening

### 1/5 — Can’t even get past the login page

*2021-11-21, version 2.12*

Don’t know how long this bug is due to continue for but bringing my laptop around / calling ATC to cancel is not really ideal. See a lot of others with the same issue.

### 1/5 — So slow, barely operational

*2021-10-30, version 2.12*

Surprising that law requires drone users to fly in certain areas and the app barely works…

### 1/5 — Cannot get past the login page

*2021-10-08, version 2.10*

I have had this app for about maybe 6 months. Used it so often. But all of sudden it no longer goes past the login page. I have tried deleting the app and installing it again I did this 3 times. Still nothing. As much as I loved using it as I flew my drone it’s disappointing. It’s been a lot harder to communicate with traffic control people without the app I have to write down the prov number on my notepad and then call them to confirm flight

### 1/5 — Super slow and therefore unusable

*2021-10-05, version 2.10*

Great idea, but really bad execution.
The whole app lags massively and is therefore unusable. It also uses Google Maps which is not privacy oriented. A better alternative would have been OpenStreet Maps or Apple Maps.

### 1/5 — Well done it don’t work..

*2020-09-05, version 2.6.1*

So try to sign up... and no code sent to any emails I’ve tried. I’m sure it’s an amazing app if it ever worked...

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2020-05-19, version 2.5*

I have only had problems with this app. I wish there were other ways to log an AirShare. Please go back to the old system.

### 1/5 — Can’t set finish time

*2019-12-04, version 1.1*

The finish time for any flight I try to plan appears to default to the time of day I am attempting to complete my request. And I am unable to change it. Hence the app is unusable for me. Am using an IOS device.

### 1/5 — Extremely frustrating to use

*2019-11-13, version 1.1*

Won’t allow a time to be used that is in the future for the end of a flight session. Field will only load current time.
Cant edit a planned flight to a cancellation.
Map is buggy sometimes noting lat and long to preload flight plan , mostly won’t work

### 1/5 — Can’t get past the login page!!!!

*2019-06-25, version 1.0.2*

Got to admit I was looking forward to having a functional app to help complement my working day but it’s a miserable fail.
I have registered (weeks ago when the app first released) and since then have never been able to sign in - not even once. Even requested that the app send me a forgotten password email, still waiting for that one to arrive!!
I sincerely hope this app will work in the coming weeks.

Very disappointed.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Another updated review - April 2026 Updated Review + Request to Devs

*2026-04-22, version 3.8*

It seems at this stage whenever the app is updated, all that changes is that you need to click on things multiple times to do the exact same thing.

If I input an address and try to create a flight plan. I have to input the location, then select one of two tools to draw a location then I have to adjust the size. Before this last update I could just write in the address and adjust the size of the flight area.

If the flight is in an uncontrolled aerodrome, it will have a pop up showing who I need to contact, I click “got it!” Then the exact same pop up comes up again to get to the screen where I input the flight information.

Another update 1/03/23

It is back to being terrible. If I use the app, exit (without closing) and then go straight back in seconds later, I now have to log in again. Almost unusable at this point.

Previously this app has been terrible to use. In the last six months it has really improved in stability. It’s not perfect but it’s definitely not a massive pain like it was. One request I would like to make is that when selecting the height that we are flying to, allow us to type in the number rather than using the slider. If you are trying to put a specific height in to comply with a local height restriction it can be very annoying. The slider for the flight radius also resets if you want to adjust it slightly. Keep up the work dev team 😊

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2025-03-28, version 3.5*

Initially great to use but then I was unable to log in and now it tells me that my account has been disabled. As a recreational drone user and trying to do the right I find it frustrating and disappointing.

### 1/5 — Keeps logging user out

*2024-07-05, version 3.3*

Initially I thought the issue was with me, however I soon realised that the app was logging me out all the time. This is quite frustrating when you are trying to be an accountable drone operator and do the right thing. (Recreational User)

### 1/5 — Updated Review + Request to Devs

*2023-03-01, version 2.24*

Another update 1/03/23

### 1/5 — App crashes when changing phone prefix

*2023-01-09, version 2.21*

App crashes on iPhone 13 Pro when tapping on the phone prefix during registration of a new account to change it. iOS 16.2

### 1/5 — Can’t login

*2022-11-25, version 2.21*

This is a stupid app. I can’t even setup login and password have tried to reset a number of times.

### 1/5 — Bad interface and app

*2022-11-13, version 2.14*

The app interface is rubbish. Using the app causes my iPhone 12 to overheat! I can’t imagine what using it on an older device would do. It’s hard to navigate and lots of zones like danger zones aren’t on the map. Needs lots of improvement.

### 1/5 — Requires registration

*2022-11-01, version 2.21*

Requires registration to see map, which seems a little unnecessary. Also the app itself is fully 100% broken, and login does not work in any capacity.

### 1/5 — Can’t say if it’s good…

*2022-08-30, version 2.21*

…because I can’t get past the login page. Shame - I really wanted to like this.

### 1/5 — Constant crashing & clunky interface and never remembers login details

*2022-06-13, version 2.17*

I'm using this app for work (real estate videography) I want to be responsible and ensure I'm flying safely. I need to rely on this app to work to ensure my flights are logged and it has been painful from the outset. It crashes alot, doesnt remember login details, the map search in the first screen doesnt allow you to move forward into booking once you've searched an address its really just painful. Also one big gripe is it not allowing back into booked flights that are currently active to end the flight. This is one the primary requests from air traffic control so they know when your down and on my app I cant click through without relaunching the app, and relogging in (retyping full emaill and pw). Considering this is the ONLY app available to log flights and get the flight ref numbers it really should be more stable and reliable than this. I'd even PAY for a better app if It saved my time, hassle and stress at work.

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Hooray!

*2023-05-04, version 2.25*

This update seems to have fixed having to log in every time I open the app. And the zones layers load correctly only the main map upon opening the app.

### 4/5 — Buggy app

*2025-12-12, version 3.7*

Not formatted for smaller iPhone. I can’t login as I cannot see the submit button. :(

### 4/5 — Getting there

*2019-07-01, version 1.1*

New update works well for me. Looking forward to more features coming soon.

### 3/5 — Mostly ok, a little buggy

*2020-02-21, version 2.2*

It’s great that the app lets us submit flights to ATC and got the most part it works alright.

Tried it on 21 Feb and submitted a flight for 7:40 but it showed up in the app at 6:40. Did two more and the same thing. Had to submit it one hour later to get the “correct” time. The fly now button didn’t show and I have no idea when the flight actually is.

### 2/5 — Not Trustworthy

*2025-11-21, version 3.7*

Can’t rely on this app to know if it’s ok to fly. Shows no restrictions in Fiordland NP when there are multiple no drones signs.
