### 5/5 — Much better!

*2026-08-04, version 3.0*

I really liked this app originally, but found the layout rather awkward. Happy to say, the app is much improved. It’s much faster now in its general operation, and the search is much improved. I have always liked the way the artwork is displayed, but now the rest of the app is worthy of use, just keep up with bugs, the episode search still needs work, doesn’t seem to handle RSS either etc with this version. To quote Spock, “Live long and prosper “ I like it better now

### 5/5 — Good.

*2026-03-01, version 2.7.1*

The app is nice, thank you. I wish I could see what I have already heard.

### 5/5 — This is a well designed app

*2024-10-17, version 2.6*

Just a truly delightful app. Worth the subscription price alone or even a better a great add on for Feedbin subscribers. I love the design and the organization of podcasts. I hope the developer continues to give this app the love it deserves.

### 2/5 — Want to love it

*2024-07-24, version 2.5.3*

It’s almost the killer feature of a feeding subscription. As is, huge features are missing, no option to listen to a feed oldest to newest, or to drop old, unlistened episodes (like a daily news show I’ve fallen behind on) or to find episodes I haven’t listened to yet in a given feed.

There are also a fair number of bugs. I haven’t been able to add a new show for about a month. The dialog just hangs loading the list of episodes.

### 4/5 — Good looking, but questions

*2024-07-07*

First the positive, love the player display, shows episode art very well, que works great, imports opml well generally. Search works well, can’t search by episodes, but finds podcasts well. Now I am rewriting my review, as k be cause my complaint about playlists, I have taken back because I figured out how to use them. One thing about this app, compared to many others, I haven’t met a bug, or freeze, crash etc. yet. Very impressive!

### 4/5 — Good looking, but questions

*2024-07-04*

First the positive, love the player display, shows episode art very well, que works great, imports opml well generally. Search works well, can’t search by episodes, but finds podcasts well. Now the questions, you can make named playlists, but where do they go? I made one but can’t find where it’s located in the app. Also I couldn’t find the notes, or the chapter setting. Am I missing something? I like this app, but still learning how it works

### 4/5 — Simple and clean

*2024-03-19, version 2.5.1*

Airshow’s simplicity is a delight. I’ve moved from Castro after having sync issues, and Airshow has been a fine replacement that seems to be getting better with time. The way the queue and chapters are handled is especially slick! The integration with Feedbin is nice, too, although I wish there were an easy way to view episodes that aren’t in the queue on the Feedbin web interface! Other than that, my only real wish is for played episodes to be marked in the library. Oh, and I’ve spotted that some podcasts such as the excellent Podcastle audio fiction magazine seem to not display their artwork once added from the directory – but the podcast still plays back okay!

### 3/5 — Great, with big gaps

*2024-03-01*

Great app, maybe feedbin’s killer feature.

The problem is it has no concept of keeping track of played episodes. The playlist/queue pattern is great for new episodes, but if someone recommends Serial, you want to listen to it from beginning to end. Airshow is no good for that. Lots of other shows, say I jump into LeVar Burton reads, I don’t need to hear every episode in order, but I do want to be able to quickly find episodes I haven’t heard yet. Also, similalrly, I need to be able to search for specific episodes.

So it’s good. It’s much cleaner than Apple Podcasts. It’s getting me to subscribe to feedin even, but it really needs some missing features.

### 5/5 — Love it…just want..

*2024-01-28, version 2.5*

Please add smaller tiles in tile view for all my podcasts and app to default open to new episode view in Library.

Then it will be 🧑‍🍳💋

### 5/5 — Excellent queue system

*2024-01-23, version 2.5*

Great simple design, lovely queue system like Castro. I like that my podcasts are front and centre; the directory is only there if I want it.
