So I’m giving it 2 stars instead of zero It’s only $2.99 but definitely not worth that kind of money lol. It feels like a simple school project some kid made, and then stopped supporting with updates. Feels super clunky to use and swipe the stickies, and it doesn’t sync automatically with your computer so you never have the latest sticky notes when you’re on the go with your phone. This is super annoying every time I need to check sticky on my phone and im reminded that “oh darn, since I didn’t synced it up before leaving the house, I’m only gonna have notes and updates that are 2 weeks old from my last manual sync”… Unless you make it a habit to ALWAYS manually sync it up before leaving the house, office etc you will never have your latest notes and changes to notes in your phone. Robbery.. want my $2.99 back. ### 2/5 — Way too complicated *2022-03-07, version 3.4* Like I thought it was a download and done sort of thing and the process is at last 20 steps and It's back and forth between your devices and making accounts (the Dropbox sign up does have a free option but they hide it really well). Really doesn't feel worth the time at this point ### 2/5 — Does not sync live *2022-02-17* The reason I downloaded this app was so that I could look at my updated stickies on either my computer or phone. I work all day on the computer and sometimes at night I think of something that I want to add it to my phone. But if I wanted to do that I’d have to have my computer turned on and manually sync the stickers beforehand, which is inconvenient and unrealistic. I wish this app synced with the computer stickies live without a manual sync button. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! That would be an extremely helpful way to make this app more useful. ### 3/5 — Works but limited usefulness *2018-08-13* It does what it says (syncs Mac stickies to iOS) but really lacks 3 features to make it really useful: 1) auto sync. I should not have to manually go in and tell it to sync itself. Computers are amazingly good at mundane, repetitive tasks like this. 2) edit capability on the iPhone app. This should be a iOS stickies app that happens to sync, not just an iOS read only sync tool. 3) Dropbox support is great, but I bet 100% of the users of this particular (Mac) app have an iCloud account. Sync by storing the stickies database on iCloud may be helpful? Happy to pay for an upgraded version? ### 2/5 — Must quit and relaunch to sync *2017-10-21* This app does not perform automatic syncing between your Mac and iOS device like Dropbox or Google Drive do. It’s more like manual FTP where you must initiate each sync/transfer on your Mac: (1) launch AirSync on your Mac and iOS device (2) pair the 2 devices like you would with Bluetooth (3) click the Sync button on the Mac to start the sync (4) when syncing is done, quit AirSync on the Mac. The Mac AirSync app appears to only lets you do one sync at a time. To perform a new sync, you must quit AirSync and then repeat all 4 steps above. If you leave it running, it won’t do any more syncing. You must shut it down and relaunch it. But you can leave the iOS app running. Weird design (bug?) and tedious to use. I still gave it 2 stars because it does sync, but it’s definitely clunky ### 1/5 — Worthless *2017-04-12, version 2.2* I agree with several others, after initial sync no further syncing was done. Flipping through notes to find one that I don't remember the details on is too time consuming to be practical. Need a fast way to scan all note headers at a glance. I wanted to try it again now that it has iCloud function. Both have the same iOS, so I’m not sure what the problem is. I’ve deleted and reinstalled several times, but still get the same message. There was no syncing with my Mac. There are no buttons, no help screen, nothing but directions for how to sync that never works. It worked once on my iPad, but I haven’t tried to change the note and sync again, yet. I downloaded it free, but it was a waste of my time. ### 1/5 — I had high hopes... *2018-03-24* I was Looking forward to being able to sync stickies between devices, but this app simply isn’t working. When I try to sync via Wi-Fi it says that stickies cannot be accessed, and when I try to sync via dropbox there is no response. It does! Quick search. Very friendly interface with vertical cover flow for stickies. Hope developers add new features, like color sorting, both ways synchronization and possibility to edit stickies on next version. I will update this review to 5-stars if they add widget support for iOS (isn’t that kind of the whole point of the stickies app?) and the ability to create/edit stickies from your phone (currently view-only). With this App, I have much more space on my screen. Great! What will be nice is, if it‘s possible to arrange the notes in the app to see more than one at the same time. In this overview should be no frames, only the notes. It should be possible too, that I can scroll inside the notes on the arranged overview. You need to download the app on both your Mac and phone to sync, be on the same network and enter the numbers in the app on your mac. All my stickies transferred after pressing sync and there was a pop up after maybe 7 seconds saying it was complete (good bc sync button doesn’t really have normal button feedback?) ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2018-04-03* I really like this app, and how easy it is to use. It syncs through both Dropbox and WiFi perfectly for me. It downloads every single sticky note from the Stickies app (I know some people were having problems with that). The only thing I don’t like is that there’s no automatic uploading on the Mac desktop app, and I always forget to go in the app and manually upload them. It’s also a bit annoying that on iPhone you can only read the notes- but it isn’t that big of a deal for me, personally. Overall good app, and if the two things I mentioned were added/fixed, then it would be the best Mac and iOS sticky app ever! [This same review has been written by me on both the Mac and iOS apps] ### 4/5 — After new iPhone update, app works great! *2017-05-30* At first this did not sync with my MacBook at all, but I just updated my iPhone OS & gave it a shot... immediately updated with all 10 of my stickies, I'm talking less than a second & BAM, there they were! Yay! 👍🏼 Only reason this isn't 5 stars is because I'd love the ability to view the stickies all on one screen as thumbnails or 1 at a time, like it already does.
