I initiated a chat at feb 7 around 8pm IST regarding an issue that “payments were deducted for auto renewal thrice but subscription didn’t got activated “ I have waited for almost 40minutes and I closed it as I lost my patience . Then now when I opened the chat again I can see that an executive joined chat on feb 8 at 1:40 pm .and she pinged something for 2 mins and left . How can I know how long to wait ? And surprisingly now when I initiated the chat again now I can see the update “Thanks for getting in touch! We've got your message and will reach out to you during our business hours, between 10 AM to 7 PM. Don't worry, we’ve got you covered.” Which is good . The customer care people have tried a lot of things to try to fix it finally they are telling it's the tv's fault. It's been months trying to fix this. When we are getting it as a bundle through the subscription there is no need for me to get it individually and pay for it. This is the final step of putting my issue here. As I can see few other people also facing this same issue. Tried reaching out to customer support through in-app support, waited for more than 30 mins to no repose after few initial automated bot responses. There is no way to get complaint I’d which can be tracked even after waiting for more than 30 mins in the chat page. No other way to reach out to customer support after from in-app chat which is just managed by automated bots with few configured answers. From my personal experience, it ranks as one of the most poorly designed and frustrating apps I’ve ever used. I encountered significant issues with its functionality, specifically in trying to manage my account. There is no straightforward option for deleting an account, and despite numerous efforts on my part, I was unable to successfully remove mine. This lack of basic features, combined with the difficulty of navigating the app, has resulted in an overwhelmingly negative experience. I love that its even got the classic shows like shark tank or the old kapil sharma show to watch. Had always had netflix and prime but never knew what to watch there. I read somewhere from Google that Airtel has discontinued Xstream services with Apple’s Safari but it works fine with Google Chrome that I had to install in my Mac. App works fine on iPhone but Airtel should consider it in working as Safari as well (for those who own Macs & browse through Safari frequently) even tried to do screen mirroring from my iPhone to Mac but only you can see the app interface not the videos on the app, it goes totally blank (black screen). Hope Airtel fixes this with Apple & its Safari browser; else everything is fine. Hope this review will be helpful to new users. Especially who work from home like me, 1. They offer very low range,to make you purchase another device for increasing the range. 2. Every week two to three days there will be outage, which is claimed to be resolved in few hours and takes more than 7 hours sometimes even 24 hours. 3. If it is not an service outage it would be your router. In short be ready to recharge your mobile data and work via hotspot. Their customer care, grievance cell, even apellate won’t respond or show the basic attitude to help you. BEST PART, they won’t refund your money if you wish to disconnect. I have been stuck for another six months in this. I am writing to all the places i can, in order to get the money back. The customer team will mention to contact local technician, their LOCAL TECHNICIAN won’t answer a single call. They will make you reset your modem hundreds of time with pin with switch and still nothing will work😂. SAVE YOUR TIME, MONEY and DON’T FALL INTO THEIR TRAP. It’s just a brand with no service. Have been trying to watch ‘2018’ in Malayalam. I don’t speak the language, would like to watch it like that with English subtitles. But all I get to do is choose the audio. No option for subtitles! 😶 When switching between devices, it just fails to realise that I have already closed the app in the previous device. It keeps telling me to close playback in other device for an hour or so! 😶 And the overall app itself is slow and laggy. They do not have a proper technical team to resolve network related issues. Its been 5 days since I have raised a complaint with them. My Wifi isn't working. I am working from home. It has affected my work schedule very badly. Still there is no proper response from them. They give silly reasons like it was raining before 2 days, we will try to resolve by end of the day from past 4 days. But they didn't send anyone to resolve it, not just that they did not have the courtesy to call me and inform if there is delay because they don't have enough people under them. They charge so much in return do not want to provide better services. I would highly recommend you to go for Jio or ACT services. How can such a big name do frauds like these to save their data? Do they even care about their customers? How pathetic can Airtel be? What technical issue takes 15 hours of time to resolve? What if your customer is working from home and that's why he got your worthless fiber installed and paid you ₹3500 for your pathetic speed plan and still you shut down your service saying there's a technical issue? I wish there's some way to sue them!
