I only downloaded it to use a place that gave the impression I could not pay cash The signal was very poor so could not connect to the machines so the experience was pointless as had to pay cash anyway. Sorry, aber hier ist der alte Münzautomat die kundenfreundlichere Lösung. ### 1/5 — I want my refund *2026-05-04* In total, I paid $5.75! $3.75 went to the washer that didn’t work and the other $2.00 went for the fee to take the money out of my wallet. I don’t know what it is about this company but why have a customer support if it’s not reliable now I have to wait 5 to 10 business days. People go to laundromats because they don’t have access to one at home. To do laundry in my hotel?!? Insanity. We’ve reached a dystopian future not even fantasy would conjure… ### 1/5 — Scam, Abzocke *2026-04-01* Für mich ist das Betrug. Man kann nicht entscheiden wieviel Guthaben aufgeladen werden soll. In vielen Fällen wird dadurch Geld beim Betreiber bleiben. Besser Geld wechseln gehen oder einen anderen Waschsalon nutzen. ### 1/5 — Horrible. Awful. Irredeemable. *2026-03-24, version 5.0.0* I hate this product and everything it stands for. It’s said ”if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Apparently the fine folks at Aiwallet heard that as “if it ain’t broke, fix that”, and proceeded to break thousands of perfectly functioning laundry machines across the nation. It was all so simple before; I put in my quarters, and my laundry would be promptly washed on demand. To do another load, I had only wait for the cycle to finish, and could then repeat the process. A simple cause and effect process; a time tested and true method of laundering used for decades, by my parents before me, and their parents before them. Now I mourn the loss of this simplicity. I regret bemoaning the inconvenience of finding quarters in a society that has moved past coins as a useful unit of currency, because such paltry concerns pale in comparison to the nonsense I must abide now. I find myself unable to use my laundry machine, in my apartment; not because the machine isn’t functioning, or because I’ve forgotten my quarters in my other pants. No, I cannot use it because this cursed app doesn’t properly recognize when a load has ended. I sit there gazing upon my completed laundry, eager and ready to replace it with a fresh load and move my chores along efficiently, only to be met with disappointment. The system is malfunctioning, and it has convinced the machine it is in use, and therefore unavailable. It is not in use. It is available. Now an otherwise perfectly functional machine is rendered useless for no reason. This is a product that offers no solutions, and create only problems. Fellow renters, ask yourselves this, why must we give out our location to use our laundry machines? Why must we sign up for an account to use our laundry machines? Why must we have an app to use our laundry machines? The answer is this: we should not need any of this, but our landlords (in their great wisdom) have allowed the oh-so-inventive minds behind this product to convince them we should. What is it that inspired this? Hubris? Idiocy? Probably a data harvesting scam, in the end. I don’t care that you have tech support. I don’t care about how easy my landlord’s job is. I don’t care about your awful ideas for an app-based future. I care about using my laundry machine without unnecessary middlemen needing to get their grubby little fingers in it, adding new points of failure at every step in the process, and making the least convenient task in my life demonstrably more inconvenient. I hope your company fails and you all have to move back in with your parents. Why do I need an account to use a washing machine? ### 1/5 — Bad app *2026-01-27, version 4.3.5* Nie polecam, zawsze jest się stratnym 2e ### 1/5 — Abzocke *2026-01-22* Ganz ehrlich, das System hier ist die reinste Katastrophe. Man kann nicht mal selbst entscheiden, wie viel Geld man aufladen will – man wird einfach gezwungen, diese festen Beträge zu nehmen. Und wenn man sich sein eigenes Restgeld zurückholen will, ziehen die eiskalt 2 € (50czk) Bearbeitungsgebühr ab. Das ist bei den Beträgen einfach nur unverschämt und fühlt sich nach totaler Abzocke an. Dazu kommt, dass die Preise fürs Waschen und Trocknen brutal hoch sind. Wenn die Leistung wenigstens stimmen würde, okay, aber die Trockner sind ein Witz. Ich hab jetzt drei verschiedene Maschinen durchprobiert (nacheinander, gleiche Wäsche) und keine einzige bekommt die Wäsche wirklich trocken. Man zahlt hier einen Haufen Geld und am Ende ist alles noch klamm ### 1/5 — Ridiculous *2026-01-22* No one should need to download an app, set up an account giving their name and phone, enter a credit card, prepay to get a balance, then draw down that balance to spend $2 on a washing machine. Shame on the company who sells this, the developers who wrote it, and the exécutives that bought it. ### 1/5 — Unscrupulous *2026-01-20* This is an unscrupulous company that enables your landlord to take money from you electronically without verification of services received. Its up to you to battle between airwallet and your landlord over regular glitches, malfunctions, not receiving super wash, machines that are not maintained, etc. Ridiculous when airwallet support was telling me to restart and mess with the managed washing machines. Si vous enregistrez votre carte bancaire pour un prélèvement automatique, il n'est pas possible de la supprimer de l'application. Si vous voulez retirer votre solde vous avez des frais injustifiés de 2€ et si vous tardez à retirer votre argent (+ de six mois) vous avez des frais d'inactivité (perso ils m'ont prélevé l'intégralité du solde) ### 1/5 — Garbage Experience *2026-07-17* I just wanted to do a load of laundry at my hotel. This app added 10-12 minutes to the chore between downloading, creating account, connecting payment, and funding the wallet. None of the added “features” add anything useful enough to justify the complications over just using Apple or Google Pay. ### 1/5 — Absolute scam *2026-06-28* This is an absolute scam of an app to try to data mine with the user data, collect hidden fees for getting overpayments which they will force you to do even if you have the correct amount of money and they count to pay for the machine. Was soll das? ### 1/5 — Solutions for a problem that doesn’t exist *2026-06-14* This app is creating solutions for a problem that doesn’t exist. And by doing so just makes more problems. Just let me put coins in the machine, I don’t need an app for it. Machine said it cost $3.00 so I paid that on the app. Turns out it was wrong and needed $3.25 to start a cycle. App would not let me add another $.25 because it said the machine was in use. The AI virtual support wasn’t able to unlock the machine so I could start over, and it’s after business hours so there are no people working at the app to fix it.
