Poor quality, UX, poor quality, network layer, horrible stability. Worst part is the decision of this company to allow the people that develop it to continue making the same mistakes over and over expecting a new outcome. ### 2/5 — Crash and freeze *2026-07-31, version 4.26.0* This app is the only one of my iPhone that crashes two or three times a week and I have about 50+ apps. I have used the iPhone since the first version and never seen such a poor sloppy app. I am very surprised others give more than two stars. I asked the person that installed the unit and he said the same. Their cloud system is garbage as well. Sometimes it sits there and just freezes and will not sync with the app and you have to force quit the app and then re-login and then it works. Stop outsourcing and development and get some people that know how to build apps is all I can say makes your brand look horrible. ### 1/5 — Terrible UI & has so many issues *2026-07-18, version 4.26.0* We have had this system for almost 3 years now, and it’s generally been okay. Lately, the system disconnects, and we have been unable to reconnect it. The app’s user interface is terrible - I can always tell when engineers have designed an interface that regular people are trying to use because it never makes sense. In this case, it’s incredibly difficult to find what you need, and there are too many hoops to jump through to get what you need. There are also too many instances where you select something thinking it’s going to be functional, and it only gives you information. The thermostats are the same way. I’ve contacted customer service about getting my system reconnected since it keeps telling me my WiFi password is wrong. I also scoured their webpage and the manuals to find a solution - there wasn’t enough information anywhere to help me. We are considering a new system because this one is difficult to use and doesn’t seem to work correctly most of the time. ### 1/5 — RIP OFF! *2026-07-18, version 4.26.0* The ability to control my home A/C remotely was what drew me to Airzone and their pricey gateways. A one off cost was OK for me. Now they will be charging a fee to control remotely even though I bought it on the no-subscription premise. Pirates! ### 1/5 — Total ensh$ttification *2026-07-15, version 4.26.0* They are now making you pay a yearly fee for features that were advertised as core benefits of installing their hardware….. aka extortion. ### 4/5 — Some issues; it won’t turn off Mitsubishi sometimes; generally great otherwise *2026-06-30, version 4.25.2* I wish you could address the issue with the module not able to send command to turn the system off. This is why four stars not five. ### 4/5 — Locked mode *2026-06-25, version 4.25.2* I have a 3 head system. Two of the heads show locked modes in the app. One on hear and one on AC. I didn’t do it. I have individual controllers but primarily use the app. How can I clear the local controller command so the app does not show locked? ### 2/5 — Not stable on loading *2026-06-23, version 4.25.1* The app seems to have a poor networking layer. When starting it often says loading and does that infinitely. Kill the app and try and it works. Perhaps it has json token expiration issues or MQTT stale sessions. ### 1/5 — Shady business practices *2026-06-06, version 4.24.1* I rarely leave negative reviews, but this one is deserved. I recently invested thousands of euros in an Airzone system. One of the major selling points was the ability to control my home's climate remotely through the Airzone Cloud app while away from home. Airzone has now announced that this functionality will require a paid subscription starting in October 2026. Without the subscription, remote access will be reduced to view-only mode. Charging for genuinely new premium features is one thing. Retroactively putting an existing, heavily marketed feature behind a paywall is another. Remote control wasn't some obscure capability buried in the documentation. It was one of the core reasons many of us chose the platform in the first place. What makes this especially frustrating is that existing customers are apparently not being grandfathered. Those of us who purchased the system with remote control included are simply expected to start paying annually to keep using it. The app itself, while nothing special, works reasonably well. My rating reflects the company's decision to remove functionality from a product I already paid for and sell it back to me as a subscription. ### 1/5 — Payer pour avoir accès à ce qui est actuellement gratuit *2026-06-03* Installation mise en route il y a 1 an avec beaucoup de difficulté. Tu espères être tirée d’affaire et bien non !!!!!! Application instable et régulièrement défaillante. Après 2 jours de maintenance en fin de journée… nous voilà avec 4 zones sur 5 en affichage dispositif déconnecté avec un robot IA qui me propose de regarder si mes leds clignotantes : bien évidement je vais ouvrir les télécommandes pour voir les cartes électroniques 😂. Le plus beau c’est que entre temps petit mail pour expliquer qu’ils ont découvert la lune et nous propose de nous aider à faire des économies genre 100€ par an !!!!!!! Ils nous prennent pour des idiots : linky et mon appli EDF font le job et gratos !!!!!!!! Le plus drôle c’est le oulalalal commander sa clim a distance MAIS JE LE FAIS DÉJÀ GRATUITEMENT ! Alors si ils étaient honnêtes ça serait : on a décidé de se payer des dev dignes de ce nom et on vous fait payer !!!!!!! Mais non ça sent le oulalala c’est tout pourri PAYER ET ÇA IRA MIEUX. Clairement il est malhonnête de donner des arguments comme eux de votre mail qui est juste ben voilà si vous voulez conserver vos fonctionnalités il faut payer Et puis comme les plateformes de streaming je vous parie 48€/an en 2026 … et 99€ dans 5 ans.
