### 2/5 — Create a account

Cannot create account
You fill in the info and won’t let you go any farther.

### 2/5 — Creepy app but good idea

*2025-12-30*

Only 2 star because why do I need to scan my face to enter? Surely there are other, less creepy, ways to identify folks? At any rate I needed toilet paper so have fun selling my data I guess lol. The app did work fine and opened the store door as expected. The store was well maintained and stocked up on pretty much everything I need around the house—super handy idea

### 1/5 — a

*2025-04-17*

tried to sign up. after they validated my credit card with the $10 hold for 72 hours i got an error saying “invalid latitude”. can’t get around it no matter what i do. guess i’ll shop somewhere else lol. also the gcp project name should be updated to be something a bit more official than “project-72diejw”. doesn’t scream good quality!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2024-12-07, version 3.0.2*

WHATRE YOH DOING!!!!

### 1/5 — Can’t even open

*2024-11-19*

Tried to use it and couldn’t get past the face scanning despite tons of tries in very well put conditions. Garbage app.

### 1/5 — Crazy amount of personal information required

*2024-11-08*

Biometric information and credit card just to buy a some chips? No thanks, whoever thinks this is appropriate is beyond stupidity.

### 1/5 — Just needed a toothbrush

*2024-10-23*

Walked 10 mins to this store , had to give permission to location and sensitive information.
After that, it asked to scan my face.
All just to enter the store. At that point, I decided in this age of cybercrime. It was safer to walk back 20 mins to a regular store, then get my identity and funds stolen.
I deleted the app and walked away.
I can see that they don’t respond to issues here too.

I suggest don’t go to this Store except you are comfortable with an unknown person/pple having your email, access to location, information on your phone, your face and your credit card details.

### 1/5 — Imagine wanting to buy some snacks…

*2024-10-09*

But you’re not allowed inside the store unless you give up all of your data and to grant them your phone’s permissions

### 2/5 — Needs credit

*2024-09-22*

They say they accept debit yet you need a credit card number to start the account. Won’t be going there

### 1/5 — Privacy yikes

*2024-09-11*

Non-optional to not give access to your camera, notifications, and to further you have to upload a selfie to “verify” your identity before proceeding. Super sketchy. Sad cause I wanted to support local business but this company is poaching your identity+credit card info without being reputable.

### 1/5 — Store is not maintained

*2024-09-10*

No baskets, nobody in chat to reply

### 1/5 — No Apple Pay

*2024-08-19, version 3.0.1*

Doesn’t accept Apple Pay, PayPal, or any other payment method that doesn’t involve handing all my CC info to an untrusted company.

### 1/5 — .

*2024-08-11, version 3.0.1*

they have lot of technical issues

### 1/5 — Time consuming sign up with limited shopping options

*2024-07-24, version 3.0.0*

The doors occasionally don’t unlock and the amount of verification required to enter the store is ridiculous. Customer wants to buy groceries easily, not go through 20 checks in order to enter the store.

Why create a separate app to verify the identity, when instead there could be a credit card swipe system just like banks? Unnecessary additional storage for customers

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Cannot create account

*2026-05-04*

Face scan doesn't work at all and customer support is some AI agent that is useless. Cannot get into the store cuz i cant create an account

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2026-04-17*

Can’t even register because of my face? Customer support was nowhere to be found.

### 1/5 — Suck

*2025-12-28*

Suck so bad

### 1/5 — Nonexistent Customer Support

*2025-12-25*

I’ve shopped here previously forgot my pw requested a new one and it says I don’t have an account. Not even chat ability. If your going to have a store with no people tech needs to be efficient.

### 1/5 — Store location

*2025-11-21*

I downloaded The app, it went smoothly but noticed there is no store locations in the app so I need to do a Google search.
It would be very convenient to have store locations built into the app

**Developer response:** Hi Geraldc68,

Thank you very much for your feedback. Our dev teams are working to include locations within our app and expect this to be released shortly. Please contact us at support@aisle24.ca should you have any further feedback or suggestions that can help us to provide a better experience for our customers!

### 1/5 — Criss de tbnk

### 1/5 — Stupidité

Transformez une expérience simple comme faire votre épicerie en psychose à silicone Valley.

Donnez accès à toutes vos données pour une expérience de machine distributrice.

### 1/5 — Money

*2025-08-06*

I wanted to go inside to get a nice cold drink for my kid but I had to pay a fee of $10 just to go inside

### 1/5 — Dumb app

*2025-07-06*

I’m not gonna scan my face to enter the store for a bottle of water

### 1/5 — Too much effort just to use a store

*2025-06-02*

This requires too much effort just to access the store, it’s ridiculous you have to scan your face and create an account. Why would I use this when I could go across the street to get food. No thank you I hate post pandemic modernism. This is like a Black Mirror episode.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Mississauga Location

*2026-03-22*

Out of the many times I’ve come to Mississauga Aisle 24, it has never disappointed. I’ve bought a wide variety of items here, and every single time the quality has been great. The food is always fresh and never expired, which is something I really appreciate and look for in a store.

What really stands out is the effort the owners put in. They’re always there, working hard, restocking, organizing, and making sure everything runs smoothly. You can tell they genuinely care about improving the store and giving customers a good experience.

It’s rare to find a place this consistent and well-maintained. Definitely a 5-star spot that I’ll keep coming back to!

### 5/5 — Vancouver Downtown Robson

*2025-04-03*

Really looking forward to Aisle 24 in Robson St

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2025-01-19*

Im a college student and love having an Aisle 24 market on campus. Makes dinners and groceries easier. Was wondering if you could add a feature that lets me see what’s in stock for the nearest store though? I feel like it would give the app a bit more purpose besides just unlocking the door

### 5/5 — Easy to use and great customer support!

*2024-11-06*

Been a customer for over a year and haven’t had any issues using this app or shopping at the stores. When there are technical issues (such as an item in store not scanning), customer support is responsive and helpful.

### 5/5 — Easy set up

*2024-10-23, version 3.0.2*

Signed up got my deposit back as stated. Shopping is easy and stress free. Feel like the store was opened just for me when I’m in there alone. 😬

### 5/5 — Great Concept and No Issues Yet

*2023-10-02*

Despite the negative reviews I downloaded the app this morning because there is a location right beside my building. The process took 5 minutes and the store has a very solid offering of products that are quality. Overall happy with the store - plus they had a great grand opening event.

### 5/5 — Convenient!!

*2023-10-01, version 2.8*

We live able a Aisle 24. Super convenient when you’re in a pinch! I hope to see more in the city :)
Excellent customer service as well!

### 4/5 — One gripe for me

*2024-11-12*

This app is perfectly fine. Although the design could use an update and improve the flowing look, the app is okay. I would love to have a widget pop up on my Lock Screen when I am close by an Aisle 24 location. I would also very much want to see an Apple Watch app available with an option to unlock the door. Since watches have cellular connectivity now, I feel like that would make a lot of sense to add.

### 3/5 — All was OK, support experience in the app was a failure, as was the shopping.

*2024-06-02, version 3.0.0*

The app worked OK, but the door at the store didn’t work as expected. Double doors, you aren’t supposed to be able to get Pat the first door before registering, but the door was open. I installed the app and verified from within the lobby. Since I was halfway, I struggled to get the store door open. I had to exit and re-enter.

One I got in the store, I couldn’t buy what I wanted because there were no bags available to carry the items. I limited my purchases to what I could carry on one hand and left.

I tried to reach about to support and there were two options, ticket or live chat. I chose live chat but it didn’t connect to anyone. There was no way to exit that chat and start another support effort or switch to a ticket. That is a user interface issue.

Overall, the experience was poor and I’d just walk past the store to another nearby and staffed store next time.

### 3/5 — be more digital!

*2023-02-03, version 2.6*

there should be a digital flyer or something that shows what products are in stock at specific stores - would save me from a wasted trip
