## What is Aivi?

Your dishwasher, your 3D printer, your EV charger, live on your Lock Screen. And now your whole home at your fingertips on the Home Screen.

Aivi turns one HTTP request into a Live Activity or a widget on iPhone, Apple Watch and CarPlay. If Home Assistant, a script, or anything else in your stack can make an HTTP call, Aivi can display it. No app to build, no push certificates, no SDK.

NEW: SWITCHBOARD
- Up to eight tappable tiles on your Home Screen: scenes, lights, the garage door, the cat feeder
- Tap a toggle and watch it confirm the moment your home answers. If nothing answers, the tile tells you
- Pictures, colour gradients and your own words for every state, like "Open" and "Closed"
- Presses arrive as events over a live stream or a webhook, so any automation can act on them

WIDGETS
- Eleven templates: switchboard, progress, gauge, trend charts, battery levels, electricity prices, countdown, budget, energy flow, list and status
- Every size, including the extra-large portrait size in iOS 27
- Widget Board, watch face complications and Smart Stack
- Looks native everywhere: the tinted Home Screen, StandBy on the nightstand

LIVE ACTIVITIES
- Dishwasher and washing machine cycles with live countdowns
- 3D prints with progress and time remaining
- EV charging with charge level and completion estimate
- Always visible on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island until they're done

KEY FEATURES
- Family sharing: set up once, send an invite link, and everyone's devices stay in step. Subscribers never pay
- Simple REST API: integrate in minutes with curl, a script or any HTTP client
- Push, not poll: updates go out only when something changes
- Home Assistant ready: quick-start blueprints, or the Aivi integration

Start with a free 7-day trial. Only the owner needs a subscription; everyone you share with rides along free.

¹ Live Activities on Mac require macOS Sequoia or later and are not available in the EU. Widgets require iOS 26 or later; Live Activities work from iOS 18.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.3.1 — 2026-10-08

This update is all about reliability and polish.

• Faster and smoother, with less battery use.
• Live Activities and widgets stay in sync more reliably.
• Widgets that need a newer version of Aivi now tell you so (sorry for overlooking this when releasing the switchboard!).
• Plus many smaller fixes and improvements.

Thanks for using Aivi! Questions or ideas? Reach us from Settings → Feedback.

### 2.3.0 — 2026-10-01

Switchboard: buttons and toggles on your Home Screen.

• Up to eight interactive tiles, depending on widget size. A button runs a scene or a script. A toggle switches a light or opens the garage.
• A toggle shows the new state when your system publishes it.
• Pictures, color gradients, a subtitle such as the room, and your own words for each state, like "Open" and "Closed".
• Presses reach your system as events, over a stream your server keeps open or a webhook at a public HTTPS address. For Home Assistant, the docs have a recipe.
• With "Hide when locked", a switchboard hides its tile labels, states and pictures on a locked device.
• Every Home Screen size, including the extra large portrait size on iOS 27. The Lock Screen and Apple Watch show how many are on.

Also: progress bars with several segments now fill smoothly from one segment into the next, instead of all at once.

### 2.2.1 — 2026-09-22

Fixes for Live Activities and the extra large widgets:
- Dynamic Island: text in the corners of the expanded view no longer gets clipped by the Island's rounded corners.
- Dynamic Island: the Generic template's minimal view now shows a progress ring around the icon, like the Progress template.
- Apple Watch Smart Stack: a ticking timer in a Monitor activity no longer sits behind a gap of empty space.

### 2.2.0 — 2026-09-20

Moved to a new iPhone? Your Aivi widgets come along with your Home Screen, but the new phone isn't subscribed to them, so they quietly stop updating while still showing the last data they had. Aivi now spots widgets that arrived from another phone, says so on the widget itself, and lets you set them up on this phone with a single tap.

While fixing that, we found that the largest widget size on iOS 27 was unintentionally broken and showed nothing at all. Every template now has a dedicated layout for the near-fullscreen portrait size, and puts the extra room to work:
- Budget becomes a ledger: your total on top, every category with its bar and what's left.
- Energy draws the flow between your sources (solar, wind, a generator, whatever feeds your home), the grid, your home, and the battery, with a ring around your home showing where its power comes from right now.
- Trend shows the low, high, average, and change under a taller chart.
- Prices adds the cheapest window ahead, the priciest hour, and when the next low starts.
- Lists and battery widgets fit all eight rows.

Resize any widget to the largest size to try it. Enjoy!

### 2.1.0 — 2026-09-18

Live Activities now look right in the compact Dynamic Island.

- When the Dynamic Island shows more than one Live Activity, each one now fits its narrow slot cleanly. Icons and values are sized to the space instead of being clipped or crowded.
- Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets match the system's default look for a tighter, more native fit.
- Tapping a widget link now opens straight to the Widgets tab.
- Visual polish and reliability fixes throughout.
