About

Studying for the JLPT, or dreaming of anime without subtitles? Vocabulary is usually the wall, and AiWords takes it down word by word. It's a Japanese vocabulary app built around JLPT N5 to N1. Every word arrives with its own example sentence and audio, generated by AI to match real-life situations, so you learn how the word actually gets used. Spaced repetition handles the timing. AiWords brings each word back right before you're about to forget it, which is when a review actually counts. Structured courses run inside Storycast, with 20+ live across English, Japanese, Spanish, French and Korean. Each lesson runs in three acts. First, a teacher performs a real conversation line by line, every line voiced and translated, playing automatically one after another. Next, the lesson's grammar points get explained in your native language. Then you practice scene dialogues while the AI comments on every answer. Progress saves itself, and you can resume right where you paused. Storycast's interactive stories put your words to work. Chat with AI characters in real time, steer the plot with your choices, and turn on voice mode to listen and speak. After each conversation, a report scores your speaking, vocabulary, grammar and comprehension. Four practice modes keep testing the same word from different angles: - Handwriting: write it once, remember it longer - Listening: hear it, then spell it - Multiple choice: quick recognition, steady confidence - Keyboard: type the answer to lock in spelling Pick one of three interface styles, and the reviews land right where your memory needs them.
