## What is AJBAN 2025?

The Defense industry sector in the Middle East and Gulf regions witnessed a remarkable progress in the past decade and has started exporting its knowhow and products to the entire world. However despite the presence of thousands of factories in the region, it is estimated that more than 80% of the supplies in the local defence manufacturing sector are imported from foreign suppliers.

Ajban Defense Industry & Technology Exhibition was designed to address this challenge. It aims at helping local defense manufacturers identify new suppliers within the region, thus reducing exported money, increasing independence and supplier choices, creating new jobs and contracts in the country.
