Lose the pop ups and center it around news instead. This is just a store with a side of news. Love that I can pull up the live stream every morning in just 3 clicks (app > Watch Live > play). Used to use X to stream (many clicks). Plus(!) I can now have X open concurrently without exiting the stream and having to find where I was at in the stream. Now… As a UX designer and front-end dev for brands like Amazon and Microsoft with 25+ years of experience (before we even called it UX or Product Design) here are a few suggestions: 1) All 4 of the main bottom nav icons link to commerce-related sections. Home, Shop, and Cart I get, but Watch Live should be a dedicated section for content, not products. Trust me, there’s ZERO risk that users won’t be able to find the products when 3/4 of the links are commerce-related. 2) Brilliant decision to include both video and audio-only versions in the Watch Live section. My suggestion — related to point 1, above — would be to make the rest of this section a scrolling feed of articles or tweets. Since the app appears to be a wrapped website app, this wouldn’t be hard to implement on the web side, and would give a much richer content options. A good example already exists on the ajnlive(dot)com homepage. 3) When users click the top left menu, the close “x” button is on the top right. A simple improvement would be to remove the word “Menu” that appears in the top left and place the close “x” button in its place. The word “Menu” is a non-value-add word (yes, it’s obviously a menu) and swapping it for the close “x” button would put the open/close menu functions in the same spot, like a toggle. Minor nit, but an improvement nonetheless. 4) Remove the banner ads on the Watch Live section. If you check your clickstream tracking data, I guarantee these are low-converting ads. Just give the users what they want — content, content, content. That’s what the Watch Live section should be all about (again, see #2, above). Excellent work, and congrats on all the success in the App Store! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Pay the Sandy Hook families *2026-05-02, version 2.1.1* I had to sit through 5 minutes of ads just to watch some weird AI generated videos of Alex being a “hero”. I’d prefer a way to watch on my tv screen. ( I hate Rumble btw). Please do better. Separate the separate shows please. I can’t watch 24/7 to find who I’m interested in listening to! On YouTube, I only watched the separated shows. Again I didn’t care for the 24/7 livestream. This app isn’t just spreading conspiracy nutter nonsense, but it’s out and out taking us for fools. This app delivers content which claims that tens of millions of people died of COVID vaccines, they didn’t. This “news” claims that a majority of mass shooters are trans, an they aren’t. This app serves news that says that Alex Jones predicted 9/11, and promotes prolific violent antisemite Nick Fuentes. Apple, if this app doesn’t violate your terms, which ones do? This app is full of hateful and harmful lies, it should at least have a warning label to that effect. ### 1/5 — Okay… *2025-10-08, version 2.0.2* Just a store webpage for buying his supplements. Home, Store, Watch Live, they’re the same pages with different YouTube videos (basically). Oh and pop up adds and the app tracks all your info. This AJN Live app had articles (albeit in a much clunkier fashion and not updated frequently) up until a few days ago - and now nothing! Just a way to watch live and buy the supplements.
