The only thing I can do now is list and download videos stored on the device. I cannot otherwise connect to it to view live video or change settings. Everything worked fine before version 1.3.1. Let's go looser! ### 2/5 — Needs a major update *2019-08-02* The system requires you to look for a camera before you can watch videos you already downloaded to your phone. Additionally the app forces you to keep it open in order to download a video. Navigate away from the app or let your screen turn off and you start all over. Also it takes about 1.5 minutes or more to download one 3 minute clip. So front and back for a 3 minute ride takes more than 3 minutes (closet to 4). And you can’t use your phone during this time. I don’t know if the slow download is my camera, card or the app. But I do know if I could multitask while downloading I wouldn’t care as much. Please please please update!!!!! Still within my return window... just saying... ### 1/5 — Not working *2019-07-28* Won’t even connect...so no GPS...no downloads. Camera is great, but this app is a zero. Just let someone easily select which videos to view then select download if desired! If I need a video, I manually connect the dash cam to my laptop and download the video files because the app is awful! ### 1/5 — Makes thousands of blank albums *2023-03-15* Tried downloading a recording to my phone. The software is very clunky and hard to use but I finally got it to download 1 single video file. In the process it created thousands of blank photo albums! Downloaded the Akaso Car app as told, and it DOES nothing. Doesn’t seem to connect thru Wi-Fi to the phone. What a joke ### 1/5 — Ne fonctionne plus depuis la dernière mise à jour *2020-11-11, version 1.3.2* EDIT: Sur IOS 14.1, iphone 10 et Akaso v1, application mise à jour aujourd'hui (11 novembre 2020) en 1.3.2, le wifi ne fonctionne plus du tout... impossible de connecter la caméra au téléphone Wifi doesn't work anymore since the last update (today, 11th November), connection with smartphone impossible ---------- Sur iOS 13.3.1, iphone 10 et Akaso v1, l'application ne fonctionne plus totalement depuis la dernière mise à jour :( OK pour récupérer les vidéos stockées sur la carte mémoire par le biais du wifi, mais impossible de regarder en direct, quand on essaye de connecter la caméra, l'application crash et se ferme... Pourriez-vous debugguer l'appli, s'il vous plaît !? Il y a également un problème au niveau de l'heure enregistrée sur la vidéo (horodateur), elle ne correspond pas à l'heure de la caméra, il y a un décalage d'une heure qui correspond certainement au décalage heure d'hiver / heure d'été ### 1/5 — Live view not working *2020-07-21* Live view is not working also when I download a videos, it just download seconds not the complete video 3 or 5mns, fix it please !! ### 1/5 — Wifi real time live view not working properly *2020-07-19* One of the main reason I bought Akaso dash cam is because of the real time live video which is very convenience. Unfortunately it does not work. So disappointing. Tried reformating my SD card but still not working. It only works when I have a phone call from somebody. Which we discovered accidentally when i received a phone call. Other than that if I done with the phone call the real time video disappears again. ### 1/5 — Junk *2020-07-08* App will no longer let me pull videos. After connecting to WiFi the dash cam will freeze and show a solid blue light. Lol v1 is a great dash and especially for the price. ### 5/5 — Confusing to set up but works well! *2019-02-06* The quick user guide doesn’t mention this: When you’re setting up your dash cam, first press the WiFi button on the camera. Then go to your WiFi settings on your phone and look for the WiFi that’s listed on the dash camera screen. Connect to the camera WiFi on your phone and that will successfully sync your camera to your phone. Each time I open the app to connect to the camera it just crashes. I can pull down the footage and connect via wi-fi without a problem.
