تأسست جمعية الإحسان الخيرية عام 1990 تحت اسم "مركز الإحسان الخيري" في إمارة عجمان وتم إشهارها رسمياً في مرحلتها الثانية في العام 1998 بمكرمة سامية من صاحب السمو الشيخ حميد بن راشد النعيمي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم عجمان.

وحرصاً من سموه على معاني الخير والإحسان المبني على أسس التكافل الاجتماعي والحفاظ على بُنية الأسرة، فقد أصدرت وزارة تنمية المجتمع القرار الوزاري رقم (44) لسنة 2012 بشأن إشهار "جمعية الإحسان الخيرية" ذات نفع عام، تحت رقم (140) في سجلات الوزارة. وتطبيقاً لحديث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "الساعي على الأرملة والمسكين كالمجاهد في سبيل الله"، فإن جمعية الإحسان الخيرية عبر رؤيتها لريادة العمل الخيري في دولة الإمارات، تسعى لتحقيق مبدأ التكافل الاجتماعي بين شرائح وأفراد المجتمع، فوضعت نصب عينيها أهدافاً محددة وخطة شاملة ورؤى واضحة، مبنية على تقديم العون والمساعدة لجميع الأسر الفقيرة والمحتاجة داخل الدولة، تشمل المساعدات المالية والغذائية.. مع تطوير الكثير من الخدمات وتوسيع وتحديث مرافق الجمعية وإداراتها المختلفة وتأهيل الكوادر بما يتوافق مع متطلبات العمل المؤسسي الحديث وتفعيل آلياته، ليتسنى لها تقديم أفضل الخدمات باعتبار "الإحسان" حلقة وصل بين المحسنين والمحتاجين، وتحظى بثقة الكثير من الداعمين والمؤسسات الراعية لمشاريعها الخيرية.

ويمضي موكب الجمعية في طريق الخير، بدعم كبير من الشيخ محمد بن علي بن راشد النعيمي رئيس مجلس الإدارة حفظه الله، وبقيادة الشيخ الدكتور عبدالعزيز بن علي بن راشد النعيمي الرئيس التنفيذي للجمعية، الذي لا يألو جهداً في دعمه المتواصل للأسر وما تحتاجه من دعم مالي وغذائي شهري وموسمي، ومنها المساعدات الغذائية اليومية التي تقدمها الجمعية، لإدخال الفرح والسرور إلى قلوب المحتاجين.
