Their reporting is based on unbiased and well researched analysis of the facts and they cover important news stories about the global south that are largely ignored by the rest of the mainstream media. The coverage of the Gaza genocide has shown the inherent bias and proximity of the mainstream media to western governments and narrative frameworks. The fact that the news agency is based in Qatar gives me more confidence that it will be free of political influence. I read an article a few years ago when there was a reporter killed. It was eye-opening to read the article from different sources. You could blatantly see which stories were written from a narrative and which stories were actually telling the truth. The story was about Shireen Abu Akleh. The differing accounts was appalling.
