## What is Al Sharq Forum?

ABOUT AL SHARQ FORUM
Al Sharq Forum is an independent, international non-profit organisation based in Istanbul, with offices in Geneva, London and Kuala Lumpur. It works to consolidate the values of pluralism and justice, and to develop long-term strategies that contribute to the political development, economic prosperity and social cohesion of the people of the region. Its work runs through Al Sharq Strategic Research, Al Sharq Academia and Al Sharq Youth.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Awân Al Sharq brings researchers, policymakers, experts and young leaders together for dialogue on the region's present and future. This app is your companion for the two days.

THE PROGRAMME
Browse both days by session type, with each session's language marked. Open a session to read what it covers, see who is speaking and where it takes place. Save the sessions you want, and they appear in My schedule, in order, with a reminder before each one begins.

YOUR ENTRY PASS
Once your registration is approved, your QR entry pass lives in the app and works without a signal, so check-in never depends on the venue's wifi. After the conference, download your certificate of attendance from the same screen.

MEET THE PARTICIPANTS
Find fellow participants, send a message request, and continue the conversation through the conference. You decide who can reach you and what the directory shows about you.

STAY INFORMED
Announcements from the organisers reach you as things change: a room that moved, a schedule update, a speaker added to a panel. The app also includes the speakers, the venue, partners, frequently asked questions and the conference Code of Conduct.

IN ENGLISH AND ARABIC
Fully bilingual, laid out right-to-left in Arabic rather than merely translated.

You can browse the programme and the speakers without an account. Signing in with your registration adds your entry pass, your schedule, and messaging.
