### 3/5 — Update needed

*2026-01-27, version 9.240319*

Update the laws

### 2/5 — Needs updated

*2025-10-08, version 9.240319*

Great app but it needs to be updated Every 3-6 months.

### 3/5 — Needs To be up to date.

*2025-05-28, version 9.240319*

Not updated with current laws in my state as it should be

### 3/5 — Great: But

*2018-01-03, version 7.171011*

This app is awesome because as a police officer I have the code of Alabama on my phone. Which is much easier than carrying the book around. However, I get the book for free so why do I have to pay for the app? Especially when I am one of the many law enforcement officers enforcing the Code of Alabama.

### 3/5 — Review

*2016-10-03, version 7.160925*

It helps

### 4/5 — Needs Updated

*2016-02-22, version 7.151125*

I'm disappointed that I actually shelled out money for something not accurate. If your going to charge people for a service, it needs to be up to date and done in a timely manner. I'm a professional who needs the accurate information. I will not renew my subscription with this app.

### 4/5 — Needs update

*2016-02-17, version 7.151125*

Very helpful but needs an update for the new laws that went into effect 2/1/2016.

### 4/5 — Great App but needs update

*2016-02-13, version 7.151125*

This app is great for Alabama Law Enforcement, but it does need to be updated with the new laws that have recently changed and been added under Title-13.

### 1/5 — Trickery

*2015-11-17, version 7.15.0611*

I paid $15 to have access to all the codes in the state of Alabama. One year later the app updates and all of a sudden I have to pay $10 to regain access information that I already paid $15 for.

### 1/5 — Bad form

*2015-11-16, version 7.15.0611*

It would have been nice for you to add the more informative codes rather than make you pay separate for them. Kind of like advertising an apple pie for free, but pay separate for the filling.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Outdated.

*2025-12-14, version 9.240319*

It has not been updated since 2024. As a lawyer who uses this app in court as a quick reference, this is worthless and not useful at all. Don’t waste your money. I’ve had a subscription for many years but it is cancelled now.

### 1/5 — Never updated

*2024-08-10, version 9.240319*

If you want current laws this app is not for you. When new laws are passed or older statutes are revised, this app will not have them for a couple years. Maybe other states get all the attention but the publishers definitely don’t care to keep current.

### 1/5 — Review

*2024-07-25, version 9.240319*

It is not up to date!!!

### 1/5 — Not updated

*2024-06-15, version 9.240319*

What good is it to have the Alabama Code if it’s not updated when the laws change?

### 1/5 — App no longer correct

*2024-05-08, version 8.181114*

App was great the first year I used it. Now there are things that are not correct. You can compare it side by side with actual code books and see discrepancies and it’s not due to updated laws. Tried to reach out to the company via email and received no response. All information isn’t wrong, but I’ve came across a couple that I know are. For example 13a-9-5 is PFI 1st. The title for the code is correct but the information on the code talks about PFI 4th. Also 12-19-311 information is found under 12-19-312. I’m using the paid version there’s no reason my codes should not be accurate.

### 1/5 — Dint download unless youbwant to spend $10.00

*2022-04-30, version 8.181114*

It gives you the first sentence of every law/etc. you want to learn about or see exact law Then to see more you have to pay 10$ so truly not usable unless you want to spend immediately .

### 1/5 — Renewal doesn’t actually work.

*2020-11-22, version 8.181114*

The first year of having this app was great but after it renewed the codes just show half and says I need to activate. When I attempt to activate it just says that I am already activated and I cannot see the full codes. I have emailed support twice but no one will return my emails. Just use google or order a code book from the state.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2019-02-10, version 8.181114*

Disingenuous description. Clumsy, but tolerated b cause you are always supposed to have the latest code.
I feel like an idiot . Just bookmark Allison Alabama code . You want me to pay $10 for what ? It’s free . Thanks for leaving me hanging I’m a high pressure trafficking case !
Less you than 1

### 1/5 — $$$

*2017-03-28, version 7.161220*

Most of the title's (for instance criminal code, probably the most popular one) cost $9.99, $8.99. Seems very steep to me.

### 1/5 — Where are all the codes?

*2015-11-22, version 7.15.0611*

I paid full price for this app and then when an update comes out, less than a third of the codes are available. I will not continue to pay for something already purchased.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Solid updates, I use this multiple times a month

*2022-05-01, version 8.181114*

This app has been my go to reference for a few years now. It’s been amazing. Title 13A, 32, 15, 40 and others have been top tier.

The ability to highlight, bookmark etc is awesome.

My only ask is I wish there was a button to submit requests for updates, or submit new laws when they are passed so they can be added… but it’s rare the app isn’t updated in a timely matter.

### 5/5 — Best Law App Ever for Anyone Especially LEao’s

*2020-05-31, version 8.181114*

This app is great for upcoming Alabama Attorneys as well as LEO’s to differentiate criminal from civil law. Especially for LEO’s when they need to find a code rather than thumbing through a book. This app is fast accurate and dependable. Any changes on any law is in the new updates! I’d give this App 10 stars if that option were available.

### 5/5 — App

*2019-05-13, version 8.181114*

Good app only thing I wish they would update is the search

### 5/5 — Great

*2018-10-17, version 7.171011*

Works great but search could be better. Not so case sensitive but worth the money.

### 5/5 — Making the Academy easier!!!!!!

*2017-03-05, version 7.161220*

This is a great tool for any law enforcement officer or academy cadet!

### 5/5 — Law Reference

*2016-10-02, version 7.160925*

Very handy and beats the heck out of toting a book around

### 5/5 — At your fingertips!!!

*2016-03-03, version 7.160221*

I love this app. I use it daily for finding which code to use. For officers and investigators it's a must! Plus when I emailed them with law changes in Alabama they updated it quickly and emailed me back that it had been updated!!! Now go download it!!!

### 5/5 — Alabama Laws

*2015-09-18, version 7.15.0611*

Awesome app!

### 5/5 — Very Helpful!!!!!

*2015-05-13, version 7.14.0702*

This app is very great if your a Leo, attorney, a student or just a citizen who wants to know Alabama law. The updated version to 2015 really helps and the search menu is amazing. Great app!!!

### 5/5 — Excellent resource.

*2014-06-28, version 7.1*

Use it all the time on the job.
