### 1/5 — Awful

*2022-11-29, version 2.2*

The medications link don’t have medication dosages. Some of the treatments don’t have the full treatments. The old app was way better.

### 1/5 — Can’t give it a lower rating

*2022-09-23, version 2.2*

This is definitely not a user friendly app. If you are in need of confirmation in a hurry do not try to use this for any help.! You can not quickly find what level can do what or use what they might need. It is a cluster! Not well thought out or planned.

### 1/5 — Won’t stay open

*2022-09-06, version 2.2*

The app was fantastic to begin with, but with the new protocol update it won’t stay open. When I open the app it goes to the menu for protocols, but immediately closes out. I have deleted and reinstalled several times and still the same. If not for this problem I’d give it 5 stars. iPhone user with fully updated iOS.

### 1/5 — 10th edition no go

*2022-07-22, version 2.2*

After the update to the 10th edition it worked for a few weeks. Now within seconds of launching the app, whether it is left idle or attempt to select an option, it crashes. It continues to do so. Also there is no way to report a bug. Hey at least it was free.

### 1/5 — Can’t use it.

*2022-07-21, version 2.2*

Only worked for week. Force closes every time I open the app.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2022-07-03, version 2.2*

Needs updates on ems levels for dosages and routes. You have to exit the whole app to go back to the page before. Needs a whole revamping. The app this replaced was ten times better.

### 1/5 — It’s horrible

*2022-06-29, version 2.2*

Poor layout. It is not easy to navigate especially when you need to find something. Will not format to the screen leaving some tabs inaccessible.

### 1/5 — Needs another update!

*2022-06-03, version 2.2*

Since the last update the app only opens for a few seconds and then closes

### 1/5 — Need to be fixed

*2022-05-29, version 2.2*

Dosage needs to be under medications

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2022-05-28, version 2.2*

The new protocols only worked for a few days, now anytime any of us try to open the app it immediately closes. And please put the dosages back with the medications!

### 1/5 — SOS

*2022-05-24, version 2.2*

The app DOES NOT WORK, every time it is opened it closes immediately; not to mention for the love of God please revert back to the old 9.01 format, obviously we have 10th protocol in place but why would you have the medications without the doses making it to where you have to go to the treatments to get doses. Whoever thought of that needs to take a long walk off a short pier; this app has vital information that can be used but I’m begging y’all to consult an app developer that knows what they’re doing to correct these shortcomings.

### 1/5 — Please fix this!

*2022-05-22, version 2.2*

This was an okay app, it was hard to navigate and not as user friendly. The old app platform seemed better. Every time I open it it closes immediately. It is not usable.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Medication

*2024-10-22, version 2.3*

Takes to much time to get to an actual medication to see dosages. The other app was way better, that you could pick right from the menu.

### 1/5 — Will not operate

*2023-11-16, version 2.3*

App crashed within seconds of opening app

### 1/5 — Crash

*2023-05-13, version 2.3*

App crashes immediately. Will not open.

### 1/5 — Will not work

*2023-03-27, version 2.3*

As soon as I open the app it the load screen shows then the app closes. It does this every time I have deleted and reinstalled the app and updated the app many times.

### 1/5 — Half put together

*2023-03-24, version 2.3*

Really surprised at the lack of info

### 1/5 — What happened?

*2023-02-15, version 2.3*

Just go back to the old version. This one is awful. Incredibly aggravating to navigate and then why put medications without dosing. You have to go into the now confusing protocols to find it.

### 1/5 — Not useful

*2023-02-12, version 2.3*

As a Paramedic, this app is not user friendly. It crashes right after you open it and it happens frequently. Poor design and layout and cannot find things quickly.

### 1/5 — Does not currently work

*2023-01-31, version 2.3*

Immediately closes on IOS after last update.

### 1/5 — Needs Improvement

*2023-01-11, version 2.3*

This app is hot garbage. It would be great to access the app for longer than 3 seconds before it just shuts off. What a great tool wasted.

### 1/5 — Needs bug fixes

*2023-01-06, version 2.2*

Cannot have app open for more than 5 seconds without crashing

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Helped me out in times of uncertainty

*2024-07-30, version 2.3*

This app is a good reference when you are unsure about something.

### 5/5 — Great app for EMS providers in Alabama.

*2020-08-29, version 1.0*

Great app that includes the latest AOEMS protocols, rules, quick reference charts, tap to call (poison control, TCC, etc), and more. The next best thing to being assured information is kept up to date is the fact the app is free. Keep up the great work!

### 5/5 — What a Great Tool

*2020-07-30, version 1.0*

Using the 3rd party app always left me wondering how accurate and up to date the app was. This new app has a lot of information and the developer seems to be quick to respond to questions and make additional changes. It is nice knowing that the app is controlled by those that are part of the Alabama EMS community.

### 4/5 — Thankful!!

*2024-02-26, version 2.3*

First, I want to let the folks that took the time to put this together that I’m so grateful for you guys and please don’t get discouraged by the low reviews. Keep up the great work because this is a wonderful tool and I for one don’t want to lose this due to the nay sayers! I promise there’s a lot more grateful people out there, they just don’t take the time for positive reviews. I use this app very frequently on the way to calls to refresh my mind. I do agree that all forms of med doses should be put under the medication tab which is the only reason this isn’t a 5 star app for me.

### 4/5 — Easy to use

*2022-05-26, version 2.2*

Just downloaded this since we went to the new protocols and this seems to work great and it’s very easy to use ! Especially since we’ve gotten a lot of new Meds and a lot of the protocols have changed it’s easy to reference using this app !

### 2/5 — Constant Crash - iOS

*2024-06-23, version 2.3*

When I launch the app on my iPhone, it will appear to attempt to load and immediately crash. Force closing the app and rebooting the device doesn’t seem to help. Obviously, the app is inoperable to me. Please consider developing this app for use amongst the Alabama EMS community. It has the potential.

### 2/5 — Improvements needed ASAP

*2022-08-26, version 2.2*

Doses are not in the formulary anymore forcing you to look in the protocol. The protocols are not the most user-friendly to utilize making this entire app difficult to use in time sensitive situation zero one the exact opposite of what you need in EMS. on my iPhone 13 I am not able to scroll up enough to get to the trauma protocol so field reference is not an option. I do like the fact that field operations are now available to reference on the app.

### 2/5 — Medication dosage

*2022-05-29, version 2.2*

Medication dosages should be underneath medication. Dosages are difficult to locate when in a time sensitive scenario.

### 2/5 — Medication Reference Nonsensical

*2022-05-29, version 2.2*

I don’t understand why medication cards no longer contain dosages for quick reference. Hunting through an entire algorithm (assuming you remember the title) in time sensitive situations will lead to errors and delays in care.

### 2/5 — Poor layout

*2022-05-29, version 2.2*

Dosages are no longer under medications where they should be. You have to hunt through your treatments to find what your looking for. It’s impractical especially when you’re in a time sensitive matter
