I tried to transfer service several times and get an error message of “unexpected error occurred. Please try again later.” Well I did several times until they closed my account when we moved. So now I’m trying to set up new service. Same error message. Of course you can’t get anyone on the phone. Don’t have to be good when you’re the only game in town. Trash. ### 1/5 — So dated *2020-12-16, version 1.0.27* App is practically worthless. It has no Touch ID and doesn’t work with Safari password manager. Using web site in Safari is easier. I have to get out of the app and get back in several times before my information even loads. There’s no Face ID so I have to enter my password every single time. I haven’t tried to make a payment but judging by the other reviews, that’s going to be a nightmare. Plus you have to pay a fee to make a payment. This is definitely not worth your time. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2020-04-20, version 1.0.27* Horrible app. Can't go back, have to write down numbers so you don't forget because the app doesn't populate your acct information on subsequent pages. Needs a straightforward log in. And in typical Alabama Power fashion, you're penalized for using the service. Should not have to pay a fee to pay a bill. ### 1/5 — What in the world have you people done! *2020-02-05, version 1.0.27* Now with the Gulf Power app I have no idea how to get into my account and it says it doesn’t even recognize my account numbers. How can you possible have screwed up the original app this much. To pay my bills on 2 accounts, I now have to use 2 separate user ids and 2 separate passwords because it won’t let me add an acount. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Can’t log in *2022-11-06, version 1.0.27* The fields where you would enter user ID and password won’t except my entries. I finally got user ID to stick, but now I can’t seem to enter the password. It’s like the field is rejecting any entry. Guess I shouldn’t expect much more than mediocre out of A Southern Company. And yes “ThE aPp iS uP tO DaTe” ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2021-06-19, version 1.0.27* This app worked when I first got it, but within a month it stopped. I can’t even log in to my account anymore. It says the password is wrong but when I go on the website and use it, it works. The app is broken. 0/5 stars ### 1/5 — Worthless *2021-04-13, version 1.0.27* This app is worthless. Can’t view my bill. Tried deleting the app and reloading. Made no difference. Had to switch back to receiving a paper bill so that I can see it. No need to even attempting to download it. *2021-04-06, version 1.0.27* I guess I’m going to be one of the MANY that has issues with this app. I cannot even login with my credentials yet I can sit in front of the computer and login with the same credentials. Someone else mentioned it being just as bad as the website. I Wholeheartedly agree the website is crap also. Why on God’s green earth Alabama Power thinks that filling in the registration credentials for you is a good idea when you need to type them in yourself for them to certify properly is beyond me. I sat at my laptop for 30 minutes and tried to register 8 times before I finally figured it out.
