Except that it goes off silently at random times. Doesn’t matter if the phone is in silent mode or not. I thought leaving the app open had solved it, but after working for an extended period, it had gone off silently twice in the last 3 days on me. I cannot figure it out for the life of me. ### 3/5 — Great alarm app *2025-05-22, version 54.0* I downloaded this app because I wanted to have the ability for my alarm to go off through my Bluetooth headset, and this app does that very well. The reason for three stars is because the snooze rarely works. Sometimes I set on snooze, go to sleep, and my alarm simply does not ring. However, I cannot get it to play anything from My Apple Library. I am trying to play downloaded music and it will simply not load. There’s an alarm type you can do that you have to physically get up and spin around once while holding both thumbs on the screen. It’s fool proof! You can’t cheat your way out of getting up. There’s no other way to turn it off. I also absolutely love the different voice packs you can get: Stewie Griffin, Rick from Rick and Morty, James Bond, Darth Vader, Yoda, Hermione from Harry Potter, a VERY feisty Honey Badger, Barack Obama, and Lisa the Librarian. Stewie is my favorite, followed by the Badger and Rick. I’m super excited for this, and I feel like it will be a game changer. As it stands now, I’m headed for losing my job again. Don’t trust this APP! *2019-10-01* Have been using for a couple month and initially liked it with a couple exceptions of me catching that it didn’t save my set times that I know I saved the alarm time. And my phone never got fully charged because I had to run the app all night for it to work. Then tonight my phone started making loud noises and then I heard music playing and a women talking about pornographic stuff. Like she was talking to someone else but had access to my phone. It immediately turned off when I closed the app and started again when I reopened it. So I quickly deleted and wrote this review. Don’t trust any app you have to leave running. Bet they can access anything I have saved to my phone including camera! ### 1/5 — Beautiful, but broken *2019-05-16* Beautiful screens with much customization. However, going to the screen to set an alarm is unusual (I like it but it was a little ambiguous when I first got to this screen due to minimal labels, buttons. However, once I messed with it, it made sense. The problem was there is no obvious way to save an alarm setting or even exit this screen. The only way I could get the alarm setting screen to close was to close the app - which caused it to lose the alarm I just set. No button to close or save or confirm. No “ok”. Nothing. Tried every possible swipe, drag, click, or swoosh type of gesture. Nothing obvious or in any way intuitive. I can only imagine this was working for people and an update caused something very basic to be missing or else hidden on my iPad Pro 12.9” screen. As a software developer myself I can say they put a lot of care into some of the aesthetics and design, but if users can’t actually set and save an alarm, it’s not usable as an alarm clock. Now every time since (left on all night on charge) the alarm fails to go off and I get the rubbish backup alarm. ### 2/5 — Missing iHandy Alarm Clock Pro *2024-12-09, version 53.0* Ever since I upgraded to the iPhone 16, I was dismayed to learn that the trusty iHandy Alarm Clock Pro app was discontinued and removed from the App Store. Probably the app I’ve used the most since I’ve had iPhone, not to mention the most RELIABLE. I want to love this app for the same reasons and feature-wise it’s the most similar to my old app (and then some) but features don’t replace reliability when it comes to an alarm clock, and this app has failed to play an audible alarm 5 times in the past month or so that I’ve been testing it! Yes, the app was open each time. One time it failed when iPhone tried to update overnight. I thought this was a one-off issue, but the last two times it failed to ring for no apparent reason. I’ve submitted this feedback each time, let’s see if the developer addresses these concerns. I’m willing to pay to remove the annoying ads (which are pretty intrusive), but an alarm clock that fails to ring is definitely not worth $8 if you’re going be late for work once a week! ### 2/5 — Great clock *2020-10-13, version 43.0* Love this app/alarm. Very easy and consistent. Like adding my own pictures. Update! My old gen 2 iPad finally died so I bought a new one. The app downloaded fine but it won’t stay open even though I’ve updated all settings as noted in app support. It also is not waking us up at the time we set it for. This has totally screwed up my sleep as I’m worried all night whether the alarm will go off.
