### 1/5 — Good idea but very unreliable

*2026-02-04*

The QR function is very unreliable.

The alarm itself will go off randomly. I usually have it set for 5:15am. Today it went off at 12:05am and again at 6:30am.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback – I really appreciate it.

I’m very sorry for the issues you’ve experienced. The behavior you described with alarms triggering at unexpected times is definitely not intended, and I understand how frustrating and disruptive that can be. I’m actively investigating this issue now and working on a fix to improve alarm reliability.

Regarding the QR function, thank you for pointing that out as well. I’m currently reviewing ways to make the scanning process more consistent and dependable across different devices and lighting conditions.

Your feedback is extremely helpful in identifying real-world problems, especially for a small app like this. I’m committed to improving these areas, and updates addressing these issues are already in progress.

If you’re willing, you can also reach out through the support link in the app with any additional details about your device or settings – that would help me resolve the problem faster.

Thanks again for your patience and for giving Alarm QR a try.

### 2/5 — Good Concept, Multiple Loopholes

*2026-01-21*

The app is a great idea and I’ve been looking for something like this, but when the alarm goes off I have the option to either swipe out of the app or turn the volume down and the alarm is rendered ineffective. Would love to see these options to be eliminated.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the kind words and for checking out Alarm QR. We’re really glad you like the idea!

You’re totally right about this. Being able to swipe out of the app or turn the volume down can make the alarm less effective, and that’s something we’re actively working on improving. Some of it is tied to system-level behavior, but we’re doing our best to tighten things up and make alarms harder to bypass in future updates.

Really appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback. It genuinely helps us make the app better. Thanks for the support!
