## What is Alarms And Alerts?

Alarms that know when, not just at.

Traditional alarm apps fire at a fixed time. RingWhen fires when life actually happens. When you arrive at the office. When sunrise breaks. When your workout ends. When a medication dose slips your mind. When your next meeting is 15 minutes out.

Pick a condition. RingWhen watches in the background. When the condition is met, the alarm rings, even in Silent mode and through Focus, because RingWhen is built on Apple's AlarmKit.

TEN CONDITIONS, ONE APP

• Time. Classic recurring alarms with an animated flip-clock picker. Optionally anchor the alarm to a city's time zone so "9 AM in Tokyo" still wakes you in San Francisco.
• Calendar. Ring 5 to 60 minutes before your next meeting. Pick which calendars to monitor and filter by minimum attendees.
• Sunrise and Sunset. Fire at sunrise, sunset, solar noon, golden hour, or civil, nautical, and astronomical twilight. Drifts with the date so you never reset.
• Location. Arrive at or leave any place. Custom radius from 100 m to 20 km. Uses iOS region monitoring so it works in the background without draining battery.
• Battery. When battery falls below a threshold or charges past one. Useful for the 20% warning and the 80% unplug nudge.
• Steps. When you hit today's step target. Reads daily totals from Apple Health.
• Heart Rate. Above, below, or outside a zone you choose. Best paired with an Apple Watch.
• Weather. When rain or snow starts, when temperature crosses a threshold, when wind exceeds a limit. Powered by WeatherKit.
• Workout. Ring when a workout ends, or up to an hour after. Filter by activity type (running, swimming, yoga, strength, cycling) and skip short accidental recordings. Reads workouts from Apple Health.
• Medication. Rings only if a dose was never logged in Apple Health. Took it already? Silence. Works for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly medications, checked on the day you choose.

This is one of those apps that you didn’t know you needed but once it’s there, you wish never to live without it. 
I definitely think this app can be a great value add to anyone who forgets things, basically everyone. 
The UI could be simpler. Right now I need to figure out how to make it work. I’m looking forward to setting up more alarms.
