## What is Alarra?

The alarm won't stop until you finish a mission. No snooze. It rings even on Silent, even on Focus, even when the app is closed.

Alarra is built on Apple's AlarmKit, so your alarm fires reliably at the exact time you set — with the ringer off, in Focus, or with your phone locked. The only way to silence it is to get out of bed and complete a task. No snooze button. No "five more minutes."

WAKE UP BY DOING A MISSION
• Math — solve a few problems to shut it off
• Memory — flip cards and find the matching pairs
• Shake — shake your phone until you hit the count
• Photo — match a photo you set (like your bathroom sink)
• Barcode — scan a barcode you picked (like the toothpaste)
• Steps — get up and walk it off
• Squats — do your reps
• Tap Tiles — memorize the lit pattern, then tap it back
Free includes Math, Memory and Shake — one mission per alarm. Pro unlocks all eight (three of them can't be finished in bed) and lets you chain up to five on a single alarm.

PRAYER ALARM — FAJR & IMSAK
Wake for Fajr with an automatic prayer alarm set to your city, with an offset if you want to rise before or after imsak (suhoor). Alarra refreshes the time every day and enforces them like any other alarm — it keeps ringing until you're up, even on Silent. Prayer times are calculated to be compatible with Diyanet's method. Alarra is an independent wake-up app, not a prayer-times reference, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any religious authority. Times may vary slightly by your exact location.
• Wake confirmation: take a few steps, then scan the barcode of an object you registered yourself. The alarm won't turn off from bed. You can switch it off if you'd rather not use it.
• The prayer alarm is free, and will stay free.

HABITS & STREAKS
Turn getting up into a habit with 7, 21, and 66-day streaks. A simple wake report shows what matters: the time you actually woke, how long it took you to get out of bed, your current streak, and a heatmap of your mornings — all based on your alarm and wake times.

WIND DOWN & SLEEP PLAN
• Sleep Plan — set a bedtime and wake-up rhythm, and keep it steady.
• Lights Out — a guided wind-down with a calm breathing sphere to help you switch off.
• Ambient Sounds — drift off to rain, ocean, and more calming textures (extended library in Pro).

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No ads. No trackers. No account required — Sign in with Apple is optional. Alarms and missions work without a connection, and nothing about your mornings is ever sold. iPhone only, iOS 26.1 or later.

ALARRA PRO
Free is a real alarm, not a trailer: unlimited alarms, all 37 alarm sounds, the whole morning prayer alarm, the full nightly wind-down, and 3 missions.
Pro buys depth, not permission:
• All 8 missions — three of them can't be finished in bed
• Up to 5 missions chained on one alarm
• Stay-Up Check — it calls back a few minutes later to make sure you didn't crawl back in
• Dice & Bargain — let the app pick your mission, or haggle with it
• Wake atlas — morning heatmap and your full history (free shows this week)
• 12 sleep sounds with a layering mixer
• Exclusive wallpapers and the Habit alarm
• Your alarms across your devices
Pricing: monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.3 — 2026-08-21

Improved the Premium subscription screen after onboarding so plan details are consistently visible and easier to review.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-14

Alarm sound volume now has a 70% minimum so alarms can’t be set too quietly.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-12

What's new in 1.2.1

This release fixes one thing — but that one thing was the whole promise.

• THE ALARM NO LONGER GIVES UP. Silence it with your phone's side button and it keeps coming back — now 30 times. It used to stop far sooner: after a handful of dismissals the alarm went quiet on its own, and you could return to sleep without ever finishing your mission.

• RINGS NO LONGER PILE UP. The gap between return rings is now even. Previously the rings caught up with each other and a single button press could dismiss several at once. Now every ring asks for its own dismissal.

• THE MORNING PRAYER ALARM IS JUST AS PERSISTENT. The daily prayer-time refresh can no longer cut short the persistence of an alarm that is ringing at that moment.

Thanks for using Alarra. If something breaks or you want something added, write to us — every message gets read.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-11

What's new in 1.2.0

• The alarm limit is gone. Free now means unlimited alarms — no counting, no wall.
• Squats count real movement. It used to be pure tapping, so you could finish it without ever leaving the bed. Now the phone has to actually move.
• Stay-Up Check (Pro) — after you switch the alarm off, it calls back a few minutes later to make sure you didn't crawl back in. It's more stubborn now, so one lucky tap isn't enough.
• Dice and Bargain (Pro) — let the app roll for your mission, or haggle with it for an easier one.
• Your wake score is honest. If snooze is switched off, that pillar no longer scores you on something you can't do — its weight goes to the rest instead.
• A clearer Free vs Pro comparison, so you can see exactly what you're paying for before you pay for it.

Sleep well, wake better.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-07

What's new in 1.1.0

• Sleep Plan — set a bedtime and wake-up rhythm and keep it steady.
• Lights Out — a guided wind-down with a calming breathing sphere to help you switch off at night.
• Ambient Sounds — fall asleep to rain, ocean, wind, a crackling fire, and more.
• Dozens of design refinements across the app for a smoother, calmer experience.

Thanks for waking up with Alarra. Keep your streak going!
