I wanted to like it but when I open it, it’s like what do I do now? Spend half an hour listening to a clip to find out if it has content I’m interested in? Probably will delete it. ### 1/5 — Empty Privacy Policy *2020-09-05, version 4.4.54* I intended to rate this app 5 stars because I use it often and generally like it a lot. However, before writing this review, I scanned previous reviews and found one that complained about how clicking on the privacy policy links to a “terms of use” page for the app developer (still true). It’s essentially a riot act on what the public may do with the app, with nothing about how the developer will collect and use data about people using the app. The previous review was written about a year ago, and the issue still has not been addressed. I think Alaska Public Media may want to look into the matter and see that the privacy of their app users is respected. ### 1/5 — Privacy of Whom? *2018-12-10, version 3.9.25* When I tap the privacy policy, it links to a “terms of use” page disclosing how I may use the app but not how my data is being used and collected. It’s disturbing the developer is more concerned about dictating what the public is allowed to do with their app than communicate what the developer will do to the public. However, the type face and color selection on the front screen is a poor choice. ### 4/5 — Great when it’s not dropping out or not pausing with Apple ear buds *2022-07-04, version 4.5.54* I use my ear buds to listen via the home WiFi here in Anchorage and I would give 5 stars except for the apparent lack of full functionality with my ear buds. I should be able to pause and go back but it seems to drop completely. Broadcast often buffering or dropping completely as well. Have to keep resetting on my iPhone. Have good internet and range. I have been requesting a rewind feature in the LAist app, formerly the KPCC app for years, to no avail.
