## What is AlAthan?

Features and functionality

Prayer times are based on your current location or a city you choose, with multiple calculation methods including Umm Al-Qura, Muslim World League, ISNA, Egyptian Authority, Karachi, and more, plus Hijri date and moon phase on the main screen.

Qibla compass provides real-time direction to the Kaaba using your device compass with degree readout and works offline.

Athan on Globe gives you a global view of where Athan is currently active around the world.

Notifications and reminders include Athan with multiple sounds such as Makkah and Madinah, pre-prayer reminders from 5 to 30 minutes before prayer, iqama reminders with adjustable delay after Athan, per-prayer controls, and an option to turn off all notifications.

Live Activity and Dynamic Island show a live countdown to iqama on the Lock Screen and in Dynamic Island on supported iPhone models, with clear progress from Athan to iqama.

Widgets are available for Home Screen and Lock Screen in multiple sizes, including next prayer, countdown, and progress, with Apple Watch support.

AI Chatbot helps you ask about prayer times, calendar dates, moon information, and quick prayer-related questions in natural language.

Save Spots lets you save personal prayer spots and Qibla locations for your own reference.
Hijri Gregorian calendar conversion makes it easy to convert dates in both directions and browse dates clearly.

Favorite Places lets you pin and quickly switch between frequently used cities and locations.
