We’ve been working in Derby all week and every cab we’ve ordered has been on time and ready to go when we are. My only criticism is that the air fresheners in a couple of cabs have been absolutely overpowering, to the point where on one ride I had to complete my journey with my head out of the window, and on another I had to remove the freshener and put it in the glove box! My hospital trips have become quite frequent recently. And I know I can totally rely on your promptness & courtesy without fail. It eases the trauma of being a regular outpatient considerably. I never need to worry about getting to the Royal Derby Hospital or returning home. Your drivers always arrive spot on time. I shall never consider using any other taxi service. They are always on time, their drivers are friendly and personable and the cars are always clean. An added bonus is they keep me informed of my cars progress and details about it….for example make, colour and registration. This is so useful when standing waiting outside a hospital or similar….you know your car when it arrives. Cheers for that…booked it the day before so should’ve had a driver ready. ### 1/5 — Worst customer service *2022-02-28, version 1.8.0* We booked a taxi this morning the driver just drove off right before we get a chance to open the trunk to get our groceries .Keep calling the customer service the whole day and keep blaming us for what happened instead of calling their driver to sort it out.At the end of the day,they asked us to rebook and pay the same taxi just to bring the groceries back.Kudos to your customer service and your grumpy operator!!!! ### 1/5 — Shocking *2022-02-02, version 1.8.0* I’ve been waiting for a refund for nearly 5 days, I got told I would be refunded on Monday the 29th and it’s now Wednesday the 2nd! So I rang yesterday and they said they will ring me back, I had no call. I rang again today and they said I have to ring back tomorrow! I understand that things might be delayed but it seems as though their putting off refunding me, it’s not even the trip I’m asking for a refund from, they took £5 out of my account for no reason and they said it must be a mistake! A few other people have said that they have took money out of their account for no reason also. Never use this app again ### 1/5 — Poor service even worse prices *2021-11-29, version 1.8.0* Very misleading prices on the app which always seems to add on a few pounds after you confirm the booking, they say they’ll refund the difference on journeys but I’ve never had one come through so I doubt that’s true. When booking they're always so slow, massive waits for taxis regardless of time of day. Would recommend other taxi companies over Albatross every day of the week ### 1/5 — Misleading prices, delayed service *2021-10-08, version 1.5.0* Someone had recommended it to me as it’s cheaper than Uber. I have been using albatross quite frequently. Not even once have I been charged the amount shown while booking. They even charge you while you wait at a red light. They mislead this way showing that it’s cheaper than Uber but always come out to be the same amount. Drivers never ever reach in the time shown. Today I missed my train because of this.
