I would love to have an iPad app for this, but it's not an issue. Can you do almost everything here that you can on the MLS website? Yes. Is there another app available that will do the same? No. The 1 star reviews below are ludicrous. However, if you accidentally tap one of the options at the bottom or exit the app (to send a message or check a website, for example) you have to start completely from scratch (including location searching and filtering the results).
