## What is Albums Music Player?

Albums is the music player for people who love to listen to whole albums.

Albums is designed for the album listener. If you love to listen to whole albums then this app is for you. Albums is all about gorgeous cover art, smooth and fluid graphics, and easy access to your album library.

Features Include:
- Fast and fluid cover-art browser that can be sorted by album or artist.
- Artist browser for viewing all the artists represented in your library.
- Collections allow you to group albums however you like.
- Crate Diver helps you rediscover your music or find something to listen to when you are feeling indecisive.
- Full iTunes integration including iTunes Match and playlists
- Gorgeous design, graphics, and animation that make Albums fun to use and lightening fast.
- Share what you've been listening to with friends on Last.fm and Twitter

Why choose Albums over alternatives?
- Highly visual: Albums uses cover art to display your music rather than text. Who wants a music player that looks like a spreadsheet?
- High Performance: Albums was developed for fluid performance, even with large music libraries hosted on iTunes Match. Albums uses advanced technology in iOS like Grand Central Dispatch to render video and respond to input quickly, even when loading thousands of cover art images.
- Innovative Features: Collections and Crate Diver make interacting with your music fun, and you wont find them anywhere else.
- Designed for the album listener: In most music apps an album is just a collection of songs. Randomization selects random songs, playlists store songs rather than albums, and any album browsing view is usually tucked away with playlists and songs put front and center. Albums was developed for people who like to listen to whole albums rather than just singles.
- User Input Accepted: Many of the features in Albums have come directly from user requests.

Albums is proudly developed by Adam Drew in sunny North Carolina, USA.

### 5/5 — Great updates

*2012-08-30*

The new improvements in 1.75 are great! I'm really glad to see this app getting improvements and listening to users requests/bug reports/etc. (specifically, thanks for addressing my confusion with the search filter buttons) I've been using it for just a few weeks now but it's easily one of my most used apps. Keep up the good work!

And as if I didn't like this app enough, you just had to throw in The Second Stage Turbine Blade in a screenshot. That's my favorite album :]

### 4/5 — Great and beautiful app

*2012-08-13*

My only complaint is that I would like to be able to browse by artist name. I don't know if it is supposed to have that functionality, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Otherwise, great app. Exactly how I'd like to pick music; by album, not song.

### 5/5 — Great start!

Right from the start this app is already amazing. It is eye appealing and does almost everything you want. If you enjoy whole albums at a time, this is definitely for you and you won't regret it.
