### 3/5 — It has some issues

*2026-09-08, version 9.2632.0*

The Aldi UK app as an interface for shopping is okay. It has some issues.
1. The list does not revert to the flow of the shop. So you find yourself going backwards and forwards to get your shopping. It wouldn’t be hard to map the list to the store would it?
2. Not everything is on there. For instance cling film is missing and so are many other items.
3. I want to create a favourites list and from that a shopping list. I can only create favourites and that list is limited to the items you have on it.
It needs some work.

### 3/5 — Mixed bag

*2026-09-06, version 9.2631.0*

As per title, very much a mixed bag

Good points
1) when comparing to the lidl app, it runs natively on an ipad, unlike the upscaled lidl app
2) the leaflet works much better than the leaflet view on the lidl app (i can pinch to zoom and move about, lidl app is quite glitchy here)

Bad points
1) product search is far better on aldi’s website than on the app, unsurprisingly on a 12” screen i don’t want full screen images of each product in a search list
2) sometimes want to see opening hours, logically i’d click on my selected store to view my store but this lets me choose another home store, so in order to find opening times i have to search for the store again in the store finder, this seems mad.

In conclusion if i could view the leaflets on the website I’d probably delete the app and just use that as it’s superior, but it’s better than the lidl app so 3* seems fair

### 2/5 — love u

### 3/5 — Where’s the nutritional info Aldi?

*2026-06-04, version 9.2622.0*

Please bring back the nutritional information you used to have on your website and app before you changed it for the worst. It’s very helpful for people who have certain dietary requirements to be able to check the information online without having make a trip to see if it’s suitable. You also used to have the food preparation instructions for each product as well. Less information for products is not an improvement!

### 5/5 — The Best Value -Smoked Salmon

### 5/5 — I must tell my daughter…

*2026-02-02, version 9.2546.0*

I was almost finished browsing when up popped a message asking if I was enjoying the Aldi app and that’s got to be a great big YES. I had only just said to myself to tell my daughter about this app. It’s a no brainer! I pop into Aldi every week to replenish my favourites which are always there but it’s always a hit or a miss if I manage to catch the special buys. No longer! I’ve already noted what I want to buy and I’ve got them in my calendar.
Now to message my daughter. I know she’s going to love this app as much as I do.
Thank you, Aldi 👌

### 5/5 — Shame that people who are Coeliac are marginalised

*2026-01-28, version 9.2546.0*

I love the ALDI app, as I can search for things before I go shopping.

However, I have Coeliac Disease and struggle to find things marked as such, so it means I have to spend much longer when shopping.

There’s always things clearly marked for Vegetarians and, heaven forbid I miss out the Vegans, but it seems strange that those of us with a diagnosed medical condition are pushed to one side!

### 5/5 — Bombay cheese

*2026-01-25, version 9.2545.0*

The best cheese I’ve tasted mmmm😋

### 3/5 — Ingredients list

*2026-01-23, version 9.2545.0*

It would be helpful to have calories and ingredients listed

### 5/5 — Aldi is the best

*2026-01-15, version 9.2545.0*

Aldi is the best of the best

### 3/5 — Why not??

*2025-12-29, version 9.2544.0*

Why hasn’t Aldi returned to online shopping?
For customers like me, who for lots of reasons, can’t get to a physical store, it was an excellent service. I now have to give my custom to other suppliers who do provide an online option.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not good

*2026-02-21, version 9.2548.0*

The app cant locate the Streatham Store which is a basic thing to expect

### 1/5 — Not Much Use

*2026-02-13, version 9.2548.0*

Like I suspect most people, I downloaded this app to help reduce my shopping bills by finding cheaper products than I currently buy from other supermarkets, unfortunately the app doesn’t allow me to do this. We all sort out results by low to high price so that we can decide at which price point we want to buy but this app does what many other retailers do and inserts numerous irrelevant results so that it takes absolutely ages to go through them all to find what you want or, in most cases, it just makes it so difficult that people resort to the ‘most relevant “ result sorting meaning that Aldi can basically present what it likes to you and there’s no way of knowing if you’re buying the best priced item or not. For example I wanted fresh chicken thighs but there were 279 results including cat food and gravy granules!?! In fact only four of the 279 were actually chicken thighs! This is a scam that retailers employ all the time. Bearing in mind that quite often my local Tesco is cheaper than Aldi, it just goes to show how low supermarkets will stoop in order to get our business. So as an app this doesn’t work well at all and as a result I’ve removed it.

### 1/5 — Pork pie

*2025-09-04, version 9.2533.0*

Bought a pork pie this morning for our lunch only to find.the pork is off.I m 87 and have no transport to return it.Its four days in its. sell by date I’ve never had this problem before.

### 1/5 — Chocolate teapot app, literal waste of space.

*2025-08-12, version 9.2531.0*

Ending click and collect was in my opinion was a big mistake. The app serves no purpose other than to look at items. Baffling decision. Seconding the ableist decision makers- stores are inaccessible due to most stock being high up and the checkouts being high and hard for wheelchair users place items on. Staff are scarce to help a wheelchair user so Aldi has become a write off. Be better. Do better. Would prefer to rate zero stars.

### 1/5 — Completely useless

*2025-07-24, version 9.2526.0*

Nothing interesting

### 1/5 — Web site

*2025-07-13, version 9.2525.0*

The aldi website is the very worst. Why can I not order on line

### 1/5 — Can’t even shop at this supermarket as I feel discriminated against.

*2025-07-12, version 9.2525.0*

Well firstly looking at the pictures on here, the products don’t match their prices. On one page you advertise a single pizza for £19.99 and then the following page it’s £2.69. Again a single duvet bed costs £19.99 on one page and £29.99 on another. Just makes no sense.
We have had an Aldi open up in our town which is great but as a disabled person I still can’t get out to shop there. I don’t understand why stores like Tesco, Asda, Ocado, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Iceland all offer Home Delivery. Yet Aldi and Lidl still, after all these years cannot seem to offer this service. You would be providing a lifeline for so many people like myself who can’t afford to shop at the more expensive stores but have no choice because they offer home delivery. Come on guys, get in the 21st century! Even if you use a service like Deliveroo as the co-op does has to be better than nothing, surely?

### 1/5 — useless

*2025-07-10, version 9.2524.0*

they’ve removed the ability to see ingredients on the food. extremely frustrating as i use the website to look at the foods ingredients to make sure there’s none of my allergens, intolerance’s & to make sure what i’m buying is vegetarian. what’s the point of a website if you can’t view ingredients, nutritional info or anything 😭?

### 1/5 — What’s the point?

*2025-06-29, version 9.2524.0*

Seriously, what’s the point of this app? I get that you can see the specials, but equally you can do that on the website without having to download an app.
Other big supermarket apps have other features which could have been used here such as the ability to make lists, budget your shop and even click and collect. Many of these features are also vital shopping accessibility features for disabled people. Do better ALDI!

### 1/5 — App not available.

*2025-05-28, version 9.2522.0*

Yet another Company happy to alienate their customers by placing their App higher than many customers phones. Requires 16.5 which my iPhone 6 can’t reach. Your loss not mine.

### 5/5 — Online ordering

*2026-08-16, version 9.2631.0*

Aldi are absolutely brilliant with the quality & choice of their food. The special bargains are awesome but I wish you could still order these online for those of us that aren’t that close to a store or don’t have transport to get us there.

*2026-06-22, version 9.2622.0*

### 5/5 — Harvest Morn No Added Sugar Granola

*2026-06-07, version 9.2622.0*

Why discontinue popular products? This cereal was ideal for pre diabetics so I was delighted when I saw it on the shelf not so long ago but for some inexplicable reason you’ve decided to remove it from your stores. Please give consideration to those who cannot or should not eat sugary breakfast cereals.
