I have all of the presets for my local offices, the only problem right now is that me and my friend isn’t getting notifications from the app and I’m not sure why that’s happening, so if there’s a fix for that please let me know! The critical alert feature is pretty much instantaneous, and the notification sound is very loud. I also enjoy that you can view the Storm Prediction Center outlooks at a click of only a few buttons, and you can filter/star your local Weather Forecast Offices, you can listen to the local weather radio, and there is an interactive weather radar!!! **Developer response:** Thank you for the positive feedback, I am glad the App is living up to expectations! Everything is well-organized, with radar, weather radio streams, and alerts all in one place. The iEMBot alerts are just as fast—if not faster—than X, making it a must-have for staying informed. This review in and of itself is NOT to state the app doesn’t work or serve it’s intended use. It’s quite useful. For an app with a developer that is a ‘one man show’, it’s quite good. The notifications are quite useful and it’s integration with IEM and NWSchat are implemented in an east-to-use and navigate fashion. Interface is clean and easy to reconcile. It took my receipt of a developer response to this to remember I even left my review, so here I am with an update. I’d like to thank the developer for the response. Receiving feedback on feedback submitted shows you care about your app and the welfare of the app and users. I commend you on this. Keep up the good work! ———————————————————————————- The concept of this app is good. For a person such as myself, this has a tremendous amount of potential, but without the input / commitment from budgetproductionsllc, I don’t know what to think. First and foremost, we need a way to set notifications in this app and gave them remain on. I had them working, then they just stopped pushing to my device. Makes no sense, but I can’t get them back on as there is virtually no native controllability in the app. That shocks me because this app has so much potential! When I read reviews, I noted some asking about this same thing about a year ago, and the developer referred them to the notifications setup on the website, but nowadays, the website is almost totally useless. All the website has is the ‘latest information’, which has very vague info and the links to download the app…nothing else at all, so the info must have been removed, thus making the website irrelevant for anything. The other sad thing is, the developer appeared to, at one time, be attentive to this project with a ton of possibility, but hasn’t responded to a single review in quite a long time. This is so unfortunate considering the amount of potential this has. Here’s hoping I get a response to this, but when I see devs turn silent on their reviews, it doesn’t inspire a lot of hope. It gave me great information about the weather in the us. I can’t use the new app. I’ll have get a new iPhone in order to use it. I’m sorry that the old app don’t work any more. I would like for you to look at it and look into it. And see if it can be fixed. I would like to still be able to use it. Also when you do. In another review, you said there were instructions on your website on how to set up push notification per WFO. How do I do that? **Developer response:** The website is currently undergoing upgrades. Please bear with me while I am working to improve the processes. ### 2/5 — Too many irrelevant notifications *2021-12-06* Was looking to see if there was a way to customize notifications to just my location. Read some reviews and the developer gave a website that explains how to do this but the website is expired. I feel like disabling notifications but the defeats the purpose of the app. **Developer response:** Unfortunately right now there are no available way to personalize notifications to a specific WFO and currently no plans to put that in place due to limited development abilities. The website has now been updated to show the process of getting those notifications through a 3rd Party as of 12/20/2022. ### 2/5 — Awesome app after latest upgrade. *2018-09-24, version 3.0* THANK YOU for bringing this app to the stellar standards it was before the implementation of ads. Navigation is WONDERFUL and I can get a lot of information from various sources with one app, the perfect design and functionality of this app. Thanks again for removing the intrusive ads and resurrecting this app to what it was, an amazing app leading to valuable weather resources not found in other weather apps. ### 3/5 — Great app but room for improvement *2024-06-25* Great app! But it would be great to get notifications when the NWS/SPC sends out updates. When I work I like to post updates on my weather page. It would be awesome if I got direct notifications on my phone when I can’t keep the app open. Overall great app! **Developer response:** I know this review is a little old. But if you are still around, check out the latest version available on the app store! I have gone in and completely redesigned the app from the ground up for a more user friendly design! You can now favorite WFO's and receive push notifications for your favorites, even when the app is closed! I hope you can give it another chance now that its been properly updated! However I am depleting it to four stars because recently the widgets have not been working even though my location is on, it just shows no information at all on the widget. Click on your local station and get the rain forecast and it will alert you when there is a warning or watch! And really, iPads don’t have Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) and this brings it to your iPad by tracking your location and finding warning and sending an alert! I’m TELLING YOU! GET THIS APP NOW! Very easy & simple to set up, AND it shows you the SPC outlooks AND it has an interactive radar? This might be better than MyRadar! **Developer response:** We actually get all the WFO Feed data from Iowa Environmental Mesonet! With using that we get instant products as the NWS sends them out!
