Alfa would do well to scrap it altogether. The latest update logged me out and obliterated my selected dealership, so I had to start over. It shows my fuel tank at 34% even though my tank is full. The remote start is a disaster. It starts the car then immediately shuts it down. There also does not appear any communication between the app and the dealer service department in order to give the user quick access to service records. When you click on “app support” it sends you to Alfa’s general sales page on its website. The updates don’t “fix” bugs, they create new ones. Come on Alfa get it together. I have cancelled my account for the old one, received a refund, and an email indicating the old car has been removed from my account. Unfortunately even after all of that, and after deleting and reinstalling the app, the old car is still in the app. ### 2/5 — Luxury car but not luxury software *2022-08-14, version 1.3.9* Pod a fair amount for a Stelvio. Cars great but this app does not meet the needs. Remote start fails to function properly, can’t control environmentals, inconsistent functionality. Many inexpensive cars offer this service and deliver much better. Alpha needs to fix this as it’s another detractor to what is a great car. ### 2/5 — Not very reliable. *2022-02-18, version 1.3.7* The auto-start feature if not the most reliable. I wish this worked better. ### 3/5 — Mostly broken *2021-12-01, version 1.3.7* It must have worked at one time given all the positive reviews but it barely works on my new Stelvio. Up to date with my iOS and the app. The odometer reading won’t update on the info page. No idea about the tire pressures. Pull down the screen for what seems to be a refresh and it just tells you the last time it was updated. Remote lock and remote start indicate “requested” in the notifications but never any feedback of the outcome, success or not. Nor does it ever actually send notifications as setup. Just got rid of a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. Their app had a similar feel but at least double the features, it always worked, and it was FREE for at least the length of the lease, maybe longer. Alfa might want to take a look at that app because this is pretty poor in its current state and would definitely not be worth paying for working or not. What a shame. ### 1/5 — Crashing *2021-11-25, version 1.3.7* I just downloaded the app and it says device not compatible error every time I open the app. I have the latest iOS software 14.7.1 and it says I may need to update my iOS software. ? The remote start feature has not worked for me consistently since I’ve had my car. Out of 10 tries it may work 2 and the other 8 says “Request Failed.” I literally sat on the phone for an hour trying to get this issue figured out and it’s still an issue! Support blames it on “connectivity” issues but it has been tested by us in different places, from Wi-Fi, T-Mobile and Verizon. The “Send and go” feature does not work. I have called SiriusXm guardian multiple times and they can’t tell me what’s wrong. They told me to take the car back to the dealership. The dealership says I need to contact Sirius xm guardian Also the “Info” section of the app does not update information such as fuel level or mileage. I have reinstalled the app multiple times with the same results. Very disappointing ### 1/5 — Still awful after a year *2022-08-27, version 1.3.9* One year later after my first review of app it still stinks. The remote start works about half the time. I get the failed notification. I was quite hopeful after the over the air alfa connect box update 3 weeks ago. I had hoped this fixed the connection issues. It has not. I have made many complaints to Alfa and sirius guardian. Nothing to resolve the issue. I will not be renewing my subscription next month. Waste of money. ### 1/5 — Fails often *2022-02-10, version 1.3.7* I just got the car brand new and so far, every time I try to use the remote start it fails at least once before eventually starting. I was also told Alfa has a known issue where the heated steering wheel and seats don’t come on with remote start, even when it’s below zero temps. My husband has had multiple Jeeps with UConnect and I’ve had several cars with after market remote starts…and neither of us have ever had these issues. Alfa Romeo contacted many time with zero response. ### 1/5 — Horrible! *2021-12-14, version 1.3.7* This is the worst waste of money. I came from a Durango Citadel with UConnect. I absolutely loved it. I wrongly assumed that because Alfa Romeo is now part of the FCA family that it would be using the same technology/interface. NOPE! Not at all. No where near the same platform. The app ONLY locks/unlock, starts, and locates the car SOMETIMES! Most of the time it fails. The app does not provide send n’ go, tire pressure, oil level, theft alert, or car maintenance reminders or anything else that UConnect provides. One of the reasons that I bought the Stelvio was because of Alfa Connect thinking that it was like UConnect. Boy was I wrong!!! Geeze get it together Alfa. An hour after making the call the app stops working. Instead of helping fix the problem the Customer Service Representatives tells me I need to take the car back to the dealership which is an hour away. I am truly disappointed with this app and the customer service the company provides. ### 4/5 — Add feature that informs if doors are locked or not *2023-05-09* The application is good, not great. When it works it’s a convenience, especially during the cold months. I’d say about 7/10 attempts result in positive feedback whereas the other 3 attempts fail. One thing it's missing is a complication on the Apple watch. ### 3/5 — This app does stay synced to vehicle. *2023-11-02* This app doesn’t stay synced to the vehicle or updated to the current vehicle status or info. Currently the info in the app shows info for my Stelvio from a week ago — gas amount, tire pressure, and even the vehicle location is “old” info from almost a week ago.
